I’d love to know how much of that is the cost of education vs the for-profit EDMCs & u of Phoenixes pumping out “college graduates” with useless degrees vs the lack of wage growth

Not surprising, the front-runners are spending their energy in the earliest of the early states and Steyer, the billionaire, is running non-stop TV ads in the later states where he has a longer amount of time to influence opinion.

I think that handshake snub was a claxon glaring red alert to the masses that Warren has a significant deficit of character.  She is too petty and/or small minded to be President.  Isn't that what the Dems are trying to remove from the White House?

If Warren gets that mad at Bernie over nothing, what happens in the general when Dotard makes fun of her and throws monkey shit constantly?
Collapse. She has shown a repeated inability to handle one-on-one confrontation and strife.

She's great as a Senator when the target is legally obligated to just sit there and be lectured without responding. Yelling at billionaires in a committee hearing, she rules.

She could do it, I think, with a good support team. I think we underrate the impact of a team. A candidate is just a human.

But her team sucks and is just exacerbating her weaknesses instead if hiding or buttressing them.

Sometimes an HC performs better with a new staff.

Ryan Grim had a great article in The Intercept about how Bernie built an entirely different (and almost entirely grassroots-activist run) campaign team in 2020 v the 2016 campaign which was run more traditionally and closely-guarded.

The 2016 campaign took shape as a distributed organizing operation only by January 2016, which was too late. So maybe it's too late for Liz to change course ... don't want to believe that though.

I hate every single one of you that continues to perpetuate this stupid Bernie vs. Liz tabloid bullshit.

You are ridiculous people and you're why we lose elections and you're why every goddamn movie is a comic book movie.

I think it's overblown, but it is a primary. 2008 was significantly more nasty

I do think the Warren/Bernie thing isn't productive but Bernie has handled it about as well as he could by flatly denying and trying to focus his attacks on Biden.  Bernie's job between now and the caucuses is to ensure that every old fuck in Iowa knows that Biden has repeatedly attempted to cut Social Security and Medicare.

The Smithsonian Institution had a display of a *soda can with THE pubic hair on it from the Clarence Thomas hearings. So sometimes America is a little myopic when it comes to politics. Missing the big picture is what we do.

*the hair was the real deal, the soda can was not the original per the Smithsonian spokespeople.

Yeah, people are going to turn out in droves to vote for this asshole in November.

Fuck me. He just won't take even the most minimal step to try to appeal to younger voters. If he's the nominee we're going to be fucked. Every campaign needs to be kneecapping him right the fuck now instead of chirping at everyone else.

Democrats are cowards and are desperate to seem tough on crime.

One of the MANY reasons I hate the Clintons.

Your hatred and fanaticism is exactly why we have Trump today. He knows it and is playing it up for you all to stay at home once again.

The most important part of that is buried in the comments. There's a video clip of Warren going toe to toe with Biden about it back in the day. Good stuff.

2016 was real, I voted for, organized, donated, and even met Sanders during the primaries.  I argued til I was blue in the face that the nominee has to be supported or the consequences would be dire, but the Bernie or "bust" (or Stein/Gary/fuck it I'm mad at Clinton and D's so I'm voting Trump) crowd couldn't do the right thing and save the country from today's madness.  I got a call this cycle to again support Sanders, fuck that.  Fuck allowing my ideological purity and feelings stand in the way of the long term stability of our republic.  He had his chance to do the right and honorable thing and he failed.  It has cost us all and we may never get the country back.

The link below doesn't even account for the Bernie/Stein purists and Bernie/Richardson weed folks.

Its odd how controversial of an opinion it is. I didn't realize felons stopped becoming citizens.

while in prison, you give up many rights a normal citizen would otherwise have on the outside.

bt and i went 12 rounds over this months ago, so there's no need to rehash, but to oversimplify it the way you have is silly.

- Are the Bernie -> Trump numbers out of historical norm? (i.e., is it about Bernie specifically or do people just move every election cycle?)

- Since I'm a fanatic who put Trump in office, who did I vote for?

- Who are you working on behalf of this cycle?

- What is the "honorable thing" that Bernie should have done that he did not?

Let's go another 12.

Every single American should be able to vote. "They lost some rights, so we shouldn't bother thinking about which ones they lose" is lazy stupidity.

They're close to the historical norm, but those numbers don't add up the 3rd party candidates.

The honorable thing was to work his ass off and use his clout to support the nominee.  He did neither.  He continued to be a petulant bitch at the convention.  His official groups, which I was invited on were run over by Russian bots and fanatics supporting Stein/Johnson etc.  Those could've been stopped or cleaned up but the campaign made a choice to fester the anti Hillary bullshit.

I have yet to begin working yet as I have been out of the game for 2 years.  I'll let you know when I make my decision next week, but it won't be Bernie.

I don't know who you voted for, but you sure as shit spreading a dangerous line of thinking.  I never said 'you' did, but I saw your ilk infiltrate official forums, FB, and it worked.  The digital game is a lot more important than most realize, the Russians new it and exploited it.  Your type helped spread foreign bs throughout the last election and gave it a "legitimate" voice.

The fact that no one has cleaned that up scares the shit out of me.

Who do you think put that bug in Trumps ear to amplify the Bernie stuff.  It wasn't the stable genius himself.

Bernie needs to go on Rogan again.

I absolutely do not believe that Biden's campaign wanted him to go on Rogan. Biden may not even know who Rogan is, and even if he does there's also the fact that Biden clearly doesn't care one bit about getting younger votes.

Sounds like if you really care about beating Trump then nominating Bernie is of utmost importance.
