Define rigged. Worst case scenario.

For instance, if Sanders kidnapped Amy, Pete, Joe, Elizabeth, and Boomer and put them on a one-way Telsa Trip to Mars - would I vote for Bernie? Hell no. Would you?

how many different ways can you find to not answer the question?

you went around asking every poster who they’re supporting, and won’t answer this one simple question about voting for whomever runs against trump.

supporting trump?  no.

but that wasn’t really the issue, was it?

It's a sobering look that he's the lowest regardless and it shows those other candidates supporters could very well vote for Trump if they don't win.

Or it's people that voted for Trump in 2016 that have latched on to a D candidate this time around.

Everyone is trying to spin every goddamn random poll answer into an argument for their candidate. It's exhausting.

Yes, people who are behind a candidate that still have a favorable view of Trump isn't indicative of anything dude.

for obvious reasons, people are concerned about bernie supporters if he’s not the nominee. there’s no evidence or polling that shows the same for supporters of other nominees.

approval rating of trump has zero to do with predicting what bernie supporters might do if the dnc screws bernie again.

Yes and that's just a bunch of whining and gross speculation at this point based on one questionnaire that was taken, what, at least a month ago? If you're only worried about this becasue you think the DNC may play games and screw over the candidate who comes in with a plurality of delegates then they rightfully deserved to be burned down for making this process as undemocratic as possible, I don't care who that is.

Edit: This doesn't break down by candidate, but look at the last Emerson poll

http://emersonpolling.com/category/polls/

Quote

When asked whether they will support the Democratic nominee in the general election even if their preferred candidate does not get the nomination, 79% of Democratic primary voters said yes, 8% said no, and 13% said it depends on who the nominee is.

That 13% is more concerning than that outright 8%.

I think this is different from 2016.  Bernie supporters are going to show up and vote for the Dem even as they whine about doing so.  I'm far more concerned about the people that love crony capitalism, but think Trump is a bridge too far.  Bloomberg and Biden are their guys, but I could easily see them pulling the lever for Trump over Bernie once the nonsensical "socialist" rhetoric is amped up to 10.  Kleptocrats like Bloomberg himself may have something to worry about with Bernie, but small business entrepreneurs would be much better off with Bernie than they would with Bloomberg.  Bernie's policies are better for 95% of the people.  The 5% have sold the other 95% a lie.

However, I'm still of the mindset that dethroning Trump is far more important than any of the policy that may or may not come from a Dem administration over the next 4 years.  There's a solid chance that there will be nothing left for progressives to save after 8 years of Trump.  And I just don't think Bernie can beat Trump.

I think that depends on the perception of how the process is handled. Biden, Warren, etc. get in because the get the most delegates? Sure. Bloomberg gets in by purchasing his way in and grabbing all the Super Delegates because that's what "the Party" says? Hell no.

so is it whining and gross speculation, or is it rightfully deserved and they should burn it down?  you're contradicting yourself.

look, i don't think it'll matter, because i think bernie's gonna take it.  but to post some trump approval poll to try and show that bernie people would never vote for trump is laughable at best, and intentionally misleading either way.  nobody thinks bernie supporters will vote for trump because they approve of his job or like him at all.  that was never the accusation.

that person tweeted that poll (with his caption) for one reason, and it's completely disingenuous.

This.

im team Warren, but I still haven’t seen a swing-state poll where she beats trump.

meanwhile there are swing state polls that sho Biden beating trump pretty good, but Biden is about to go down.

I'm not saying I will sit outt, I'm saying if the DNC tries to screw out the most popular candidate even if that isn't Bernie then they will get what they deserve. It doesn't contradict what I said.

If you don't think that there are a ton of people who think Bernie supporters will vote for Trump to intentionally have him when reelection and not just sit out then I don't know what to tell you. I also appreciate you not looking at the poll I've just posted either, at this point you're just going on gut speculation because one thing showed that Bernie supporters were less likely the most candidates besides Yang to maybe not support the eventual nominee

FYI no other candidate has released anything more detailed than this. It was apparently a huge deal when people ask the same of Hillary when she had that scare.

Bloomberg has had more than one stent put in, Biden looks like he's honestly confused every time he speaks. Why is it that we aren't seeing the media press them? Castro getting eviscerated for suggesting Biden might not be the most cognizant person. Bernie is doing three to four rallies a day sometimes literally across the country, I'm not too concerned about his health.

Great question. I don’t know why there’s not more talk about Bernie, Biden, and Bloomberg all being 77+ years old and  vying for one of the most stressful and jobs on the planet.

especially when you're talking about a long (it's already been long, but) 9 month process in front of them for a job they would take in 11 months, which would end in 5 years.  or 9 years.

Democrats obviously heard young voters' demands for no more boomers loud and clear.

Did Hillary or any of the other 2020 candidates pledge to release “full medical records” like Bernie did?

Because if they did, they’re wrong too.

And I think they all should anyway especially because a quarter of the field is 70+.

Now what?

Good Lord you are such a pussy. Trump's campaign is going to scream something about whomever the Democrats nominate. Hillary Clinton was literally Satan incarnate. Obama was going to take all your guns (I guess he forgot; yes I know Trump didn't run against him, the point is that this is standard election stuff). Sanders is a socialist. Warren will collapse the economy with her insanity. Biden is a doddering old fool who will destroy the country through senility. Bloomberg is a short little gnome come to take your soft drinks away and who will stop every black person in America for a quick frisk.

Get the fuck over it and scream back. It's kind of funny, bad_teammate's silliness doesn't even affect me anymore because he's been around for years. Your recent appearance on political threads, on the other hand, has actually started to make me like Sanders more. I'm still in favor of Warren, but shut the fuck up already.

Let me leave this here:

Let's ditch the strategy that won majorities in 2008, 2012, 2016, and 2018 and instead give the mass market what they've said repeatedly they don't want.

Advice, don't go into consumer marketing.

I’m just going to assume Bernie had nine heart attacks and a half dozen strokes until he releases his full medical records.

Well the fact that he won’t release them after pledging to and the fact that he trotted out his black press secretary to liken it to birtherism makes me believe the uproar that would result from releasing them is worse than the uproar from not releasing them.

Is this going to be like when Bernie was supposed to release his tax returns and then finally did and not one peep? This literally just gives Republicans ammo, do you not honestly see that?

The back and forth on medical records seems dumb   There is clearly a risk that any of Trump, Biden, Bernie, Bloomberg croak or have major medical issues during the next 5 years.  It would be one thing if the incumbent was in his 40's or 50's but is that really going to change anyone's vote?  Non-issue.

Republicans were handed the ammo the day Bernie had a heart attack. Do you think they'll just ignore it in the general election?

Is Trump, with his love for fast food, some beacon of health?   That's not Trump's dagger against Bernie.  Socialism is.

Are you under the impression that their arguments are sincere or in good faith? They will launch a million different attacks on any candidate. If Bernie's the nominee, they will use his heart attack 5 months ago against him as well.

It's literally the exact same concern troll posters. Hugo and Bama washed out their diapers from the "TAX RETURNS!" filling and they're filling them with fresh new disingenuous baby shit.

This is not an issue. 3 doctors have cleared him and we see him doing cross-country tours while physically and mentally sharp.

If I'm the GOP, a Bern victory in the general is great long game.  I get rid of Trump and can start over again like nothing happened.  I make big gains in the mid terms and take the House back.  I rebrand the Democratic Party the "Democrat Socialist Party" and then win in a landslide in 2024 with a normal candidate.  All the while, 0% of Bern's platform gets through even a Democratic Congress.

Sure they will use it.  But I can't fathom THAT being the issue that would make someone vote for Trump over Bernie.

The problem is the GOP has gone full Trump.  I don't see the Mitt Romney's of the world taking that party back over anytime soon regardless of what happens in this election.
