Since I’ve Been Loving You (even with the squeaky bass drum pedal)
Babe I’m Gonna Leave You
In My Time of Dying (my favorite Bonham track + slide)

Levee was my favorite track for a really long time, basically right from the start when I started listening in high school, but I guess it’s been long enough that it finally changed. Nobody’s Fault But Mine was probably second back then, when I learned to play the intro on guitar using a flanger (or phaser? Both? I think the studio effect was double-tracked with tape flange). Too cool.

As others have said, picking just 3 is kind of impossible, but as of this moment right now*:

1) Rock and Roll

2) Misty Mountain Hop

3) In My Time of Dying

Honorable Mention:

1) Bron-Y-Aur Stomp

2) Achilles Last Stand

*Songs and order subject to change at any time

I could pick a lot of other Top 3s.

Those were just the ones that came to mind immediately. Hey, Hey was like the only Zep song I could ever both halfway sing and play at the same time. Or you know, replicate a recognizable facsimile.

My top 3 depends on what mood I'm in at the moment.

Do I feel like some down and dirty, greasy sounding riff rock? Well, then my top three at that moment is:

Custard Pie

The Rover

The Wanton Song

Edit: and Sick Again.

See, 4...not 3...and all off of just one album.

Top 3 are probably:

Black Dog

What Is And What Should Never Be

The Ocean

I do love me some Fool in the Rain too though

He would actually use those four minutes to go backstage to down a fifth of vodka and take a piss.

Just three? That's difficult. Today it happens to be:

Rock and Roll

For Your Life

Rain Song

Tomorrow it might be completely different. So many great songs . . .

My top 3 depends on mood, as others have mentioned. But "The Rain Song" is always one of them.

On a recent road trip back from a certain historic comeback victory, my Zeppelin shuffle on Spotify brought up "In My Time Of Dying." It's amazing to consider that it's probably not even in Zeppelin's top 25 songs, and it's still that freaking good.

There's really no other band in the discussion for greatest of all time. They are Michael Jordan.

I can think of two others at a minimum.

The Stones and the Beatles are behind them. They're close, but it's not them.
