I don’t believe anyone took a position on this at the time

I did say this on Thursday morning. Does that count!

The only problem is there is going to be virtually no wind for the players to deal with. I think the winning score will be double digits under par.

This was a curiously emotional watch for me. My Dad died at the end of 12/19. My boys and my Mom were over for dinner

We’ve been watching all weekend. And the story resonated.

Good for him

For the first time in years I watched a few hours of golf this weekend. After watching these guys hit bombs all weekend,

I 'll say today's pro golfers are playing a game with which I am not familiar. 😮

I don't know, I saw a couple of whiffs in the rough and a four putt that looked pretty familiar to mine.

It has been that way for years, really decades - the game changed with Tiger, he was longer & straighter then anyone else who could putt, and he showed that the game could be played better with extreme distance which became a primary driver of winning players. Guys like ZJ, Leonard, and others became very rare winners on the circuit.

After the loss at St. Andrew's last year I really thought Rory might have a mental block and wondered if he'd ever win another major.

I'm bummed he came up short again this weekend but I kind of think the opposite now. He'll absolutely win another one at somepoint - and I think soon. He beat everyone in the field this week by (at least) 2 strokes save 1 guy that played his fucking ass off and may never win another major for all we know.

He just needs to putt a little bit better on Sundays - and I think once he gets the 5th he may roll to a few more.

I'm just going to accept I missed some inside joke.

No, seriously. I found the above flag of the CC, but it doesn't look like the lowest flag flying outside the clubhouse. I was just curious if they indeed were flying the Mexican flag. (no cr)

That would be highly unlikely. LACC has a history of being a very restrictive club. No Jewish members until 1977.  And no black member until 1988.
