I am looking for a tallboy-sized can koozie(sp?) with a hard plastic inner lining.

I don't want one of the floppy, foldable types of koozies, and I also don't want a Yeti-style one that involves or requires any sort of gasket to secure the can in place.

Something like this, with a soft foam exterior surface and a can-sized, smooth plastic liner that makes insertion and extraction simple and immediate.

You can’t use a brown paper bag like every other bum does?

That's offensive.  We don't refer to people as bums.  The proper nomenclature is unkoozied.

I use one kind of like this I got off Amazon and it's great.

I don't want one that requires or involves a gasket mechanism, and that one is for skinny cans, not tallboys (16.9 oz cans - same diameter as normal, just taller), but I appreciate the suggestion.

That was as close as I could find in a quick search. The one I have fits tallboys. I drink Monster energy drinks out of it every night at work. Here's an RTIC. They work fantastic.

Right on!

I bit the bullet and just bought one of the Yeti tallboy versions.

I searched fairly exhaustively before even starting this thread, and I have come to the conclusion that the koozie industry has likely moved on to more expensive, Yeti-style Veblen goods with higher profit margins than the "coated floating foam" style of my 25 year old Snap-On koozie.

And if a version of what I want is actually in production, it's impossibly difficult to find online...

The cans stay colder and come out much easier.

While uncommon, the plastic insert in my foam version makes insertion and extraction a totally painless process compared to those without.

Well, the Yeti is a fucking bust.

Piece of shit gasket doesn't reach down far enough, and the can is unacceptably rattly without it.

Glad I foolishly ripped the packaging stickers off before testing it first.

Can't you just trim the gasket a bit?

No, for two reasons.

First, it's not tall enough to "snug" the can up where it tapers.

Second, I returned it to Amazon.

24/25 oz can with some stuffing in the bottom should hold your 20oz can.  I’ve never seen a 20 oz specific koozie.

The whole point of liquid death was to have a sweet looking can for sober people to hold at the bar. This coosie nonsense is antithetical to the brand.

No, the whole point is to murder your thirst without using plastic.
