See that tape on Son's right hand?

Turns out he dislocated his finger when out on international play. Not in a game mind you - he was breaking up a fight. Between teammates. Over ping pong.

Quote

It now turns out that ahead of [the semi-final loss to Jordan], an altercation broke out during dinner over a game of table tennis. Son, the captain of South Korea as well as Spurs, was reportedly unhappy that some of the younger players, including 22-year-old PSG star Lee Kang-in, had left a team meal early in order to play a bit of ping pong rather than enjoy the team bonding of the dinner.

With Son calling on his young team-mates to re-join the group, it is claimed that some of those younger players responded disrespectfully to the captain. That sparked a row between some of the older and younger players and football.london understands that the Tottenham man dislocated his finger while trying to calm down the situation.

It also explains why South Korea lost the way they did.

Almost Royal-y fucked again.

It's been three and a half months since we've had our best starting XI on the pitch.

The problem with a wholesale change is needing several windows to build depth. There are still a lot players in the squad that don't fit.
