I would not have guessed Chili had 300 HR's

I used him earlier in the week and looked up his page then, and it surprised me, too.

Was wondering when I was trying to fill in the grid -- 162 guys have hit 300 HR's, most during our lifetimes.  Only 90 guys have 2000+ K's.

Spoiler

Other dudes with 300 homers: Carlos Lee, Ryan Braun, Curtis Granderson, Tino Martinez, Shawn Green, Jay Bruce, Troy Glaus, Jeremy Burnitz, Jay Buhner, Raul Ibanez, Reggie Sanders.

What surprised me a couple weeks back, was how few guys have 200 hits in a season.

One thing I like about the really old players stats - TONS of stolen bases. Hardly any HR's. And like we've mentioned before, most of those guys played every position at least once.

That's the 1920-30's dudes: Klein, Gehrig, Waners, Gehringer, Sisler.   Everybody hit .300 in those years.
