Gosh, who knows. We are playing in Gregory for the first 2 rounds, so Sweet 16 at a minimum. I don’t know shit about fuck for Tennessee. If I had to guess, we run into a wall against Stanford in the Elite 8

Texas v. aggy 1st round is nuts. I guess even TXST is ranked ahead of them.

Very surprising. Texas State didn’t win the Sun Belt tournament. 9 spots below aggy in RPI.

They deserved to be in, but they look more like a 4 than aggy. It should be Texas/Texas State and aggy/SMU.

General consensus seems to be we got an easy path to the Elite 8 -

aggy barely in and has been playing like garbage to end the season

we will have a decided talent advantage over SMU/Texas State

Tenn plays up and down and was swept by a USCe team to end the season that had nothing to play for

Stanford is Stanford but in terms of environments for the 1 seed home gyms, Maples is probably the best to get. It’s not even a fraction as raucous as Nebraska or Wisconsin. USD won the Stanford regional last year at Maples

The big questions though will be ball control, passing and Jenna. I understand Bella had a lingering injury which is why she did not play much during the Tech match (3 sets, 1 attack attempt). She started for senior day and then sat

Tree whipped us at Gregory a couple months ago. They may just be a bad matchup for our squad. Raucous crowd or not I don’t like our chances

That was pretty early in the season. O’Neal was coming back from her injury, Madi was coming off COVID (we weren’t even sure if she was going to play that match) and our passing and defense were still suspect trying to figure out roles in the back court.

Don’t think we get swept this time, but fully depends on defense and Jenna being able to produce

Last night’s RPI. Not this morning’s I guess. Makes more sense now if the committee got a peek a day early

No surprise - Madi Skinner is your Big 12 POY.

Camryn Turner (KU) Setter of the Year
Kate Georgiades (UH) Libero of the Year
Naylei Gonzales (ISU) Freshman of the Year
Ray Bechard (KU) Coach of the Year

O'Neal and Skinner 1st Team All Big 12 (so was Parra)
Swindle was on the All Freshman Team (unanimous)

Western Michigan up 2-0 on 7 seeded Auburn (playing in Louisville, KY)

Baylor up 1-0 on 7 seeded JMU (playing in Lexington, KY)

Baylor is about to be up 2-0.

good for Western Michigan. 30-2 record and totally disrespected by being unseeded.  they're gonna sweep Auburn.

i like this ESPN+ Fifth Set stream.

I completely forgot about the 5th Set stream.

Baylor is now up 2-0

Good for Western Michigan.  I have a hunch the SEC is overrated this year.

Pablo had WM/Auburn 50/50 and Baylor a big favorite over JMU.
