Qatar will do whatever it takes to keep money flowing into its coffers. If turning a blind eye to the totalitarian regime in Iran keeps oil flowing then Qatar is on board.

They've been solidly pro-Iranian government for years. The Saudis and UAE had an embargo on them for it.

The revolutionaries ( not the mullah cocksuckers) need to do what the Iraqis did after we "defeated" the convential forces.

Break up into cells of resistance throughout the cities.  Establish secure comms to organize attacks and defenses. This way "advisors" could play a role in their tactics.

Been playing Civilization for 10 hours straight and that worked for my Mongols.

The family home of Iranian rock climber Elnaz Rekabi has been demolished, according to the pro-reform news outlet IranWire, after she rose to international prominence this fall for competing with her head uncovered.

Rekabi competed without her hijab in South Korea in October, just as anti-regime protests swept Iran following the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini while in the custody of the morality police for allegedly not wearing her hijab properly.

Footage obtained by CNN from IranWire shows a destroyed structure and medals on the ground. The man filming the video clip describes what has happened to the house. The video clip also shows Rekabi’s brother, Davood, crying. Davood Rekabi is a sport climber champion himself with ten gold medals to his name, according to IranWire.

The man filming the footage – whose identity is not known – says off camera, “This is the result of living in this country. A country’s champion with kilos of medals for this country. Worked hard to make this country proud. They pepper sprayed him and demolished a 39 sqm house and left. What can I say?”

Some dispute on this. Sounds like judiciary and the interior ministry are not on the same page.

I think the only certain thing is that the hijab law is under review, because they can’t disband the morality police as it’s not under their jurisdiction.

This is still pretty shocking, and if it happens, that means the protestors will be emboldened in the future, which is good.

This is just the first step. They won’t stop nor should they!

Iran hung a protestor.

Iran has executed a man for injuring a paramilitary officer in the first known execution linked to protests that have swept the country since September, state media reported Thursday.

Mizan Online, a news agency affiliated with Iran’s judiciary, and the semi-official Tasmin news agency both named the protester as Mohsen Shekari. He was reportedly convicted of “waging war against God” for stabbing a member of the Basij paramilitary force at a protest in Tehran on September 23.

Iran says it has carried out a second execution linked to the anti-government protests engulfing the country. Majidreza Rahnavard, 23, was hanged "in public" early on Monday in the city of Mashhad, the judiciary announced.

A court convicted him of the charge of "enmity against God" after finding he had stabbed to death two members of the paramilitary Basij Resistance Force.  Human rights groups have warned that protesters are being sentenced to death after sham trials with no due process.

"Rahnavard was sentenced to death based on coerced confessions, after a grossly unfair process and a show trial. This crime must be met with serious consequences for the Islamic Republic," tweeted Mahmood Amiry-Moghaddam, director of Norway-based Iran Human Rights.

"Thousands of detained protesters, and a dozen death sentences already issued. There is a serious risk of mass-execution of protesters," he added.

Sounds like they are going to ramp up the executions, publicly no less.   It’s like they want to stir things up.

Anytime the Ayatollahs have a choice, they err on the side of more repression, not less. This is going to get much uglier before it gets better. One day I hope to visit a free Tehran and see the tomb of Cyrus the Great. I’m afraid it may be while.

They executed him via a crane lifting him off the ground, so he didn’t even get the benefit of a quick neck snap.  Instead, he dangled in the air, suffocating for however long.

Iranian authorities have arrested one of the country's best known actresses, after she expressed solidarity with anti-government demonstrators.Taraneh Alidoosti was detained on charges of "spreading falsehoods" about the protest movement that has gripped the country, state media said.

In an Instagram post last week, she condemned the execution of a man over his involvement with the protests.  Ms Alidoosti is best known for her role in the Oscar-winning film The Salesman.

In her post, the 38-year-old took aim at some international organisations for not speaking out against the execution of Mohsen Shekari. He was hanged by authorities after they accused him of being a "rioter" who blocked a main road in Tehran in September and wounded a member of a paramilitary force with a machete.

"His name was Mohsen Shekari. Every international organisation who is watching this bloodshed and not taking action, is a disgrace to humanity," she wrote.

According to a post on the state news agency IRNA's Telegram account, she was arrested by police for failing to provide "any documents in line with her claims".

What some of us observed before remains true: the resistance needs weapons, and a lot of them. Let’s use a lot of middlemen and find a way.
