Lulz at the closing statement.

A backpacker was traveling through Oklahoma when it starts to rain. He decides to wait out the storm in a nearby saloon. The only other person at the bar is a large, heavyset man staring at his drink. After a few moments of silence the man turns to the backpacker and says in a thick Okie accent:

"You see that meth lab out back? I built that meth lab with my own bare hands. I lifted every 2 x 4 and mixed the chemicals myself. I toiled away through the wind and cold, but do they call me Dvoracek the meth lab builder? No."

He continued "Do you see that trailer house out there in the side yard? I stole that trailer myself. I found it in a dust storm, hitched it to my truck, and got away with it. But do they call me Dvoracek the trailer house thief? No."

"Do ya see that Sooner Schooner out there? I built that schooner with no help from anybody else, after stealing the materials from a halfway-built elementary school in Purcell. I beat up the construction crew myself. But do they call me Dvoracek the schooner builder? No.

But you try to staple ONE roommate's head to the wall ...."

The difference is Mateer has proven he can play at this level.

How does this make any sense?

Quote

"I walked in the Barry Switzer Center every day for 18 years," says Bob Stoops, OU's head coach from 1999 to 2016, who also still lives in Norman. "I always embraced it. We have a great relationship. Always have from day one. I've heard previous coaches had kind of shied away from him, and that made no sense."

“Previous coaches” would have been (in reverse order) John Blake (played for Switzer, coached under Switzer, got the OU job because Switzer needed badly to move him out of the Cowboys locker), Schnellenberger (at OU for one year, while Switzer was “coaching” the Dallas Cowboys), and Gary Gibbs (played for Switzer and coached under Switzer).

What the hell is Stoops meaning?

But I thought Riley was the devil and BV was going to being back tough, hard nosed football!

And yeah. It's Kyle U but the point stands

And this is a Jimbo level stat

Kyle needs to leave bv and ou alone. They are doing a great job turning that program around and he should be given plenty of time to culture that program up. I look forward to playing ou when Brent finally turns it around. Give him all the time he needs ou. Lighting cigar as I walk off.

Not me.  He’s building a monster in Norman.  As soon as he gets “his guys” in the program and weeds out Riley’s dead weight, we’ll be in deep shit.  It’s truly a situation where the living will envy the dead.

Given the choice of jerking off or fucking with a condominium, what sane person says “nah, I’ll just fuck my hand.”  Also, in sooner land can one be impregnated orally? That seems like another obvious choice. And that’s not even acknowledging the butt stuff….

I can always make fun of aggy. But for some reason I can never trust that OU will be going thru their Charlie strong era. They don’t do that. They will figure it out and continue to be a bitch ass thorn in our side.

I hope im wrong.

I love post like this. In other words, if we had not been beaten in every facet of the game, offense, defense and coaching, we would have won comfortably.

this game shouldn't have been close, but poor play calling, poor receiving, poor tackling and poor coaching turned what should have been a comfortable win to another late loss. there are a lot of things wrong with the program that need to be fixed and money is not going to be there to fix it if the coaching staff refuses to do their jobs.

TIL, that USC has just as many wins over SEC teams as blou.  2, how satisfying.

Honestly- OU lost to LSU (who USC beat) and probably would have lost to the Ags (although last night taught me to not underestimate the Ags’ ability to Aggies things up)

Just read that the 95 yard Blake Horvath TD run was the longest scoring play that OU has given up since Applewhite's 97 yard TD pass to Wane McGarity in 1997. Horvath also set a Navy football rushing TD record and the Armed Forces Bowl record 🤣

But you’re headed that way.

We have to be close. I think Brent is about to retire and he told him to take a job while one was available. That is my hope anyways.
