Problematic finale. I think Page 1 hit on everything.

I’m sorry. I just don’t give a shit about Saldana’s home life. Please none of that in Season 2.

Kidman’s  husband , the puppet master, turns in an interesting performance. I hope he’s in Season 2.

I’m about to save MTV Studios tens of millions of dollars: Sheridan does very well with pilots. Just give him the budget for 2 Lioness episodes and make it a movie. We don’t need 6 episodes of bullshit in the middle.

Does anyone know if Paramount+ drops entire seasons at once or one episode a week?  My wife liked the show, but we dropped Paramount+.  I don't mind signing back up for her to watch season 2, but I only want to sign up for a month.

So they can’t give the new Lioness a weekend pass and drop in on her in a Kuwait hotel room instead of, I dunno, an active combat zone?! Just silly.

She should tell Saldana no because of her regarded plan to contact her.

Sometimes 3 soldiers have to needlessly die so the CIA can have a 5 minute conversation and check for hidden tattoos. War is hell.

After doing very well at creating strong, complex, believable women in Season 1, Sheridan seems to be leaning into his Yellowstone tendencies where important, powerful women yell and cuss out every man they see to let us know how important and powerful they are.

The action and Saldana's sweet ass makes up for the tendencies, as for as I'm concern.

you can tell which part of the military he has a hard on for. Because, when I think West Point grad, what I think of is someone that mentally brittle that would break down that easily and be willing to bear a dishonorable discharge that can't be rescinded, just to prove their love of country....

Dammit. This is one of the only streaming services I dropped but I like this show. Does it eventually end up on other services?

My wife likes the show and watched season 1 and the first episode of season 2 (free on prime or somewhere).  I'm waiting for the full season to drop and then signing up for a month.  I just monitor this thread to find out when everything is out.

I'm looking forward to Joe and her entire family getting got. Hopefully Nicole Kidman and her weird pedo looking husband go up in smoke too. Jesus, what an annoying fucking bunch of assholes. Fat black ops operator needs to get got too.

Pretty much much every character sucks except the two hot Mexican chicks.

I was very skeptical about this show but it's been pretty damn good.  I wish that Joe would never go home though (except for the nekkidness).  There's no way a CAG team under nods is going out with a DEA team without.  And then the guy breaks white light discipline?  Laughable.

Genesis Rodriguez has a plus level of physical fitness.

Cruz and Saldana of course are good.

The one that looks kinda like zap from American gladiators, I’d give her a go after a quick check of my AD&D coverage.

I don’t know how old a fella you are, but Jill Wagner has been a hottie on TV for maybe 20 years. I’ve always had a thing for her, but I will admit that her appearance on this show is, um, different?

You quoted me referencing zap from AG so that ought to give you a pretty narrow band for my age.

So I just looked and I’m 3 months older than her.  Shoulda gone to nc state I guess, though I’m sure I would have had the same level of interaction I did at Texas with Camille Anderson. Or in high school with Camille Anderson.

i kind of understand her emotions this season. new lioness was forced on her and her participation forced on them.  dea guy forced on her and is a complete fuckup with everything he says and touches.

the premise of both seasons is a little sketchy, last was a little more probable.  this one almost laughable - fake a daughters dishonorable discharge and send her home to daddy like she's going to go from badass army pilot to living in her parents basement.  like he's going to fall for that.  he already seems skeptical.  turning him seems more likely than spying on him and killing him, so it just got a little more believable than the first few episodes where they expected her to participate in the incarceration or murder of her family.

He didn’t fall for it. This latest episode was solid. Less of Joe’s family is always good.

again, I understand that show runners need a reason to try and suck in the female crowd, and they assume that by having a family, it makes the badass female lead more soft for them to relate to....

but just about every. fucking. show. that is a drama with "kids' that are supposed to be over 8 years old, completely fucks the shows dynamic up and always seems to force the leads to do unbelievably stupid shit to try and save their kid

Carl in the Walking dead is example 1, and until he got old enough to actually do shit and defend himself, he kept doing stupid shit after stupid shit. The Farm season and the Jail season are the absolute worst:

The Americans was also front and center of that problem. especially as the seasons went on and Paige kept fucking up more and more dragging the Mom away from her duties until she finally followed Mom to discover that Mom didnt fuck around and Elizabeth finally was forced to tell Paige they were spies.

The only 2 recently modern shows I can remember where the child actor didnt fuck up the show were because the actor was pretty damn good..

Mad Men with Kiernan Shipka starting at 8 years old playing Sally Draper (her brother Henry was played by 3 terrible boy actors), and Kaitlyn Dever who was 15 when she started her 15ish appearances on Justified as the self-grown assistant to Mags (Margo Martindale).

Better episode because Jo isn’t in much of it? Maybe so. Something to think about in Season 3. Id imagine Saldana isn’t cheap.
