There is no correct answer.

Even after about 1500 plays over 37 years, it's still shocking how fucking perfect this album is.

That is all.

I always liked Ride the Lightning and And Justice for All better. I think because those were the two albums a friend of mine used to introduce me to Metallica.

But Master of Puppets was the first CD I ever purchased, circa 1989.

I also always thought Master of Puppets was their 2nd album. That it went Kill Em All, Master, Ride the Lightning and then Justice. I thought RTL and AJFA sounded like they were from the same time frame.

Sanitarium. Yawn

Nah that’s a great song. But the word “sanitarium” doesn’t mean what Metallica thinks it means (and it’s actually a misspelling).

Fuck Metallica

Co-signed.

I went to see The Cult in ‘91. They were in town to open for Metallica.

it was the shortest concert of my life. And ZERO TRAFFIC leaving Starplex because I left right after like two Metallica songs. Something about a bell?

“peace, out Metallica “

I'll leave the consumption of that tune to the rest of you.
