What's more fun, if you're the driver, is to crack the passengers window, apply the parental lock, and then fart, slowly pulling the noxious gas your passengers way, And there's nothing he/she can do about it.

I did this to my son and his friends in the backseat numerous times.  Lock windows, turn heat on high/recirculate and let it rip.

The beer might represent the later.

You think like a farmer, not an artist.

The green swirl represents "the later" because it resembles how the chorizo con juevos will look as they're being flushed ...

On the one hand, it exemplifies what makes this thread great.  On the other hand, it's ketchup on a choice cut of beef.

But this thread isn't about the fucking rules.  Play on, player.

I’d like to present today’s lunch. Left over reheated garlic bread, processed American cheese, left over prime filet, sprinkle of butter and garlic seasoning, and Whataburger spicy ketchup.

Is there a type of American cheese that isn’t processed?

Filet and ketchup, huh? And I say that as a guy who likes ketchup.

Agreed but who among us hasn’t broken laws of man and common decency once or twice when posting to the shank thread

Speaking of which…..fridge clean out trash quesadilla. Beans and cheese, leftover diced rotisserie chicken, chopped cilantro and green onion, and some Taco Bell sauce. Then cover in crema. Props to whoever recommended the arbol salsa too.

Btw, between my dilla and the kids B&C tacos, shredded cheese was dispensed from 3 different open bags.

You god damn right filet and ketchup. It was leftover from last night. I coulda diced it up and put it on naoch with salsa or the like but I chose this route. And it was delicious.

Forgive the dishes. We don’t use disposables.

Very similar. Not gamey like venison. Very lean. I would give a slight edge to elk. Basically 1a and 1b on best wild meat I’ve tried.

Have you had venison from a deer that lived in corn country?

No sir. All my venison has come from Texas. I actually like the gamey flavor, I grew up on it. But I understand why some folks are put off by it.

I've regularly served backstrap that people thought was beef loin before I told them what it was.  Our deer are basically eating the diet of a beef cow, just roaming through corn and soybean fields and eating that all summer long.

Makes sense. We live on wild meat and fish. We splurge on good beef about once a month. Tommy G’s in Fairbanks if anyone is curious. Great meat shop.

Our son’s herd dines on neighboring farms corn and sorghum fields. Son plants clover, field peas, radish, beets. Corn in the feeder. His harvest each season gets better. The backstraps might be the best meat I’ve ever vet had.

Best meat I’ve ever grilled was backstrap from a doe shot in Allamakee County, Iowa.

You’ve inspired me to grab some pickled gizzards tomorrow and make a cold gizzard sammich for supper.

Now that sounds interesting and entry worthy.  I have never heard of pickled gizzards before.
