Yep, my VERY particular parents discovered for a few years back. It’s a bit more expensive than the greasy stuff in a plastic tube, but the difference is obvious.

Yeah and the lack of being just complete grease is why it’s so good. Actually has texture when you eat it

That is a work of art.  For precise scoring purposes, we need to know if that is a paper napkin or a paper towel under the Butterfinger.  We will have to take off a tenth if its a napkin.

What is this sorcery? I've never noticed that before. Which store you picking that up in?

HEB... most people have heard of it by now.

Username checks out.

It's usually in the meat section.  You're welcome.

That is one of the saddest looking corndogs I've seen in my life.  Impressive that you let it wallow in its own depression without applying any mustard.

That corn dog is like me- quiet and unassumingly awesome. We don’t need extra frills.
These were from a surly recommendation on the Sedona thread- a restaurant called Senor Bob’s.

That chili dog looks excellent. I could really go for one right now but A) it’s hard to get delivery out here:

And B) probably something to be avoided whilst trapped in a glass box for 16 hours a day

Counterpoint: I have no use for a man who doesn't appreciate the smell of his own brand.

I’m usually fascinated by it, but eventually, when you’re suffocated in it all day for 8 weeks on end, you have to make some practical considerations

And this, my friend, is why you will never be inducted into the High Order of the Shank.  It's a pretty sacred and occult ritual.

You need to make a maze with that thing.

Kinda proud of the wife tonight. I worked late, told her she was on her own for dinner.
She tackled leftovers, and had two leftover enchiladas and a Double Dave’s pepperoni roll for dinner. Not bad.

She probably owes you a dutch oven or two.

Last night, I had a late meeting across the street from Randall's.  Needed to grab a quick dinner.  They had these marked down half-price:

Let's just say that the finished product.....did NOT look anything like that.  More of a pizza soup sorta thing, all watery and shit.

I should have stuck with the classic...

The bourbon bottle having its own coaster is a nice touch.  Also, I want to know what the other coaster is an ad for.

I’m not a detective, but I think Wally’s Country Store is a pretty safe guess.

The boy doesn’t like “sauce”, so for his ricotta and spinach tortellini I drizzled some chile con queso I had left over from Saturday. Paired with some hush puppies.

My son is laughing right now.

Might try that with chicken tortellini
