it is debatable whether the swiss's kick had any impact on the goal but technically, you are correct.

this game is 2 teams with different strengths canceling each other out, giving the appearance of crap.

both are actually playing to win to my eyes, unlike japan, spain, france and denmark in the above examples.

Still confused as to why the Danish player didn't see red in the exact same situation.

They just answered it: legitimate attempt on the ball = yellow can be given.

Sweden had too much size for Suisse to cope with.  The number of blocked shots and failed/contested crosses in the air combined has to be close to 50 in this match.  At risk of poking the soccer gods i won't contemplate/state the upshot of this.
