Arch is 6'4 235 lbs. There is absolutely zero reason we should not be using him in a package in every game at some point. The fact that he's sitting on the bench rotting away has me questioning if Sark is afraid of hurting feelings or some shit. Arch isn't fragile. I'm not saying let the kid play an entire quarter, but put him in the RZ and let him eat.

I find the 235lb info hard to believe. Looks lighter than that.

Guy on radio: Drew Allar could be the #1 qb taken this year if he enters the draft.  Why wait till 2026 and get into the Arch Manning draft?

I would be shocked if Arch only starts for one year at Texas.  The media is gonna run with it, but I don't think that's his plan.

The last couple of years have been so fun and I can't wait to see what the end of this year looks like, but I think really special things are ahead of all of us.

He fumbled the ball in the SEC Championship game and almost fumbled the ball tonight.  He played so-so v. Georgia when he was thrown into the wolves.  So let me just say Let's go Trey Owens.  I know that the back up QB is the most popular player on the roster.

Seriously though - I think we can all agree whether you think he is better than Ewers or gives the team a better shot or not, he should have been in on a few more run plays against the elite competition when we could not run the ball much at all.

Looking forward to seeing what Arch can do next year.

Hope he isn’t as turnover prone as I think.

The guys seems like he's got a bit of gunslinger in him, so he'll probably make a few head scratching decisions early, but I bet that dude is playing solid AF by the end of year 1 and lookout after that.

I know he’ll be eligible for the pros after next season, but I’m really hoping he makes the right decision and plays two full seasons here

He will.

This true? Was at the game so didn’t notice

I mentioned it in the game thread but nothing has been said. Wish we would have seen him at the goal line but maybe this is why not. If it’s not then we truly are stupid.

My blood pressure and stress level is ready for it. But is Sark ready to actually not be a massive bitch when the game is on the line and Arch is your guy?

Maybe even a bruising running back along with some experienced OL

We have Gibson and Baxter. Those are some bruisers. If anything, we need a speed back.
As far as OL, I’d love to pickup some experienced MAC-type linemen to get to a higher floor, but I think we are going to roll with whichever starters come back and whoever wins the open jobs from a handful of RS-Fresh and RS-Soph.

Hell yeah! Sark is going to do some work this off season and build a great team around him. The future is going to be awesome.

Well...for Texas Longhorn Football anyway. Not as sure about the rest of it.

He was on the sideline and seemed to have his helmet. So I doubt it.

I’m ready. Should have started this year. I hope he makes everyone, including Sark, realize what a fool he was this year.

I mean, he's only watched both of them prepare on and off the field for the past two seasons. I can see how he might be confused about which one of them gives the team a better chance to win compared to people who watch the games and post on message boards.

I thought he was concussed, he had that Jalen Hurts look in his eyes.

I mean this as nicely as possible, but how can you tell the difference between being concussed and the trademark Manning blank stare?

Was he concussed ?

I wondered that, when he didn’t come in for 1st and goal from the 1. He can do a lot more than run, but sometimes it’s good to have more size at QB in those situations

So ready for Arch to take control of the offense and team. The play tonight that he ran for the first, while reviewing it for a possible fumble, the dumb asses didn’t “think” to possibly review that play for targeting? It was never mentioned as a possibility by the TV crew, as I kept hollering that they were looking for the wrong thing.

I really think Arch was concussed by that blow to the back of his head and that’s why Sark didn’t send him in there when we had the ball under 3:00 with 1st and Goal.

Hook’em!!!
