When Gaston went down with an injury in the first scrimmage this season, I had the sinking feeling our injury woes from last season were just going to continue into 2023-2024. “Next woman up” of course but considering PG depth was our biggest area of concern, Rori’s injury hurts more than losing any other player on our roster would.

Only played 13 contests. Medical RS?

We have 31 games scheduled and to qualify for a medical redshirt a player can only have played in 30% of games. Rori participated in 12 so she’s at 38%. I feel so bad for her.

Time for Madison to shine at the point.  She’s a great passer and her shot is good. Amina and Shay can handle the quick guards. I’m still optimistic for the season. Overall the team is stacked with talent. Vic needs to make sure the kids don’t get down and instead rally together to continue their success this season for Rori.

Would need to get to 44 games then. Don’t think the opportunity is there.
