It sounds like Texas leads for Chavez. If Texas does land her I have a sneaky suspicion they may try to get her to reclassify.

Harmon, Booker, Muhammad, and Moore. + #1 recruiting class in '24, + #1 recruit in 25 would be as talented as any roster in the country. Throw in a couple of experienced transfers to balance out the roster.

Next game @WVU who is 13-0 is going to be a battle. Speaking of battles, undefeated Baylor and undefeated TCU are in a tight game right now in Waco.

Yeah WV and TCU are top 25 in NET. Not sure how challenging their schedules were but much more than Tech’s very inflated record

Both their schedules were pretty damn inflated too. Especially TCU.

This is the first real opponent TCU has played tonight and they're down 22 to Baylor.

UConn’s Aubrey Griffin hurt her knee in a non-contact injury tonight against Creighton. She grabbed her knee while going up to defend a Creighton drive to the basket. Geno was without words, which is rare for him. When will these knee injuries stop?

Just looking at it now, according to Massey:

Baylor - 15th SOS
Texas - 23rd SOS
KSU - 41st SOS
WV - 139th SOS
ISU - 26th SOS
TCU - 153rd SOS
OU - 22nd SOS
Ok State - 27th SOS
Tech - 115th SOS
Kansas - 13th SOS
BYU - 88th SOS
UH - 113th SOS
UCF - 176th SOS
Cincinnati - 73rd SOS

Tech, TCU and WV might be paper tigers.  Those are some horrific SOS so far for P5 teams.

Baylor is #2 overall in Massey, Texas 6, KSU 13, WV 15, ISU 31, TCU 43, OU 45, Kansas 47, Ok State 50, Tech 60, BYU 81, UH 82, UCF 85, Cincinnati 110

Tier 1:  Baylor/Texas (Texas is 0-1 so far with 1 game left @ Baylor)
Tier 2: KSU, WV (Texas plays KSU twice and @ WV)
Tier 3: ISU, TCU, OU, KU, Ok State, Tech (1-0 so far with 8 left vs. ISU, TCU twice, OU twice, KU, @ OSU, and @ Tech left)
Tier 4: BYU UH, UCF, Cincinnati (4 left, host BYU and Cincinnati, @ UH and UCF)

Need to win 11 or 12 of the 13 tier 3/4 games, try to split with Baylor, and win 2/3 tier 2 games.  That would put us around 14-15 Big 12 wins.  15-3 or 14-4 could win the league.

Baylor has to play KU twice, OSU twice, WV twice, has another versus Texas and plays @ ISU.  They only have KSU once at home.

Thanks for compiling that for us, interesting. Much appreciated.

Hopefully we will have Jones back for the WV game, although AMo and Gaston looked good last night. Get those turnovers down and run the table.

The WV baseball coach's wife.  I'm sure this will be a totally unbiased broadcast.

They have one 6'3 player and one 6'4 player.  Gonna definitely have to watch their guards (Fields and Quinerly).

Someone needs to a double NIL deal for Madi(son) and Madi(sen)

Just like Asjia, I can't imagine even Quinn Ewers NIL $ would matter to Madisen. When your dad makes $600 million in the NBA a million dollars is like pocket change. Unless he's such a tight wad he doesn't give any $ to his daughter.

I doubt she cares. On3 has her between 60-70k.

Just saying an Austin company should capitalize on Madi and Madi. The Franchise and the dazzling freshman ball player. Vic probably wouldn’t disagree if we called Booker “The Franchise.”

Ain’t a lot of players like her - 6’1, point guard vision in a forward/wing’s body, can hit the 3 and drive to the rim and post up.  As a freshman.

It's going to be very interesting what Vic does in the portal next season.

We will return arguably two top 10 players in the country (Booker and Harmon) and an All-conference level wing in Muhammad. Plus a 5 star talent in Moore and the #1 recruiting class in '24.

Does Faye still have a Covid year? If Texas adds a legit big from the portal, I can see this team being ranked #1 in the preseason. Nobody is going to have a combo as good as Harmon and Booker.

Think Faye and Holle have COVID years. Texas may petition for Jones to get a medical RS year. She’s using her Covid year now I believe?

Dang, didn't realize that about Holle.

We could be loaded next year.

I recall in an early postgame press conference, not sure which game, Vic stating that all of the players could be back next season except for one. I presume he was referring to Shalee since she’s using her Covid year this season.

I’m not sure how scholarship numbers would work. We’ve got 3 incoming freshmen next season. With Shaylee graduating that leaves 2 more ‘ships needed. I’m guessing Sarah Graves would revert to walk-on status and perhaps Abby would as well.

You’re right, though. We would be mucho loaded.

Shaylee is the only one who does not have another year. She’s used all her medical RS and Covid years.

Geno and Vic have both had the worst team injury luck these past two years

https://www.espn.com/womens-college-basketball/story/_/id/39279970/uconn-aubrey-griffin-season-torn-acl

“She is the fourth UConn player -- along with Azzi Fudd, (ACL/meniscus), Ayanna Patterson (knee) and forward Jana El Alfy (Achilles) -- to suffer a season-ending injury. Junior guard Caroline Ducharme (head/neck spasms) is also out indefinitely.”
