So all we have to do is beat OU in Norman and win our other games games and we will split the Big 12 title (at a minimum) and be the #1 seed in KC

We'd beat OU in the tiebreaker because we beat WV and then we'd beat KSU in the tiebreaker because we were 1-0 against ISU and KSU would be 1-1 (if they win the rematch in Manhattan)

And we know they aren't perfect at home - they lost to both UNLV and Southern at home.  Their Big 12 home schedule so far has been UCF, Cincinnati, Tech, KU (5 point win), KSU (3 point win), TCU and Baylor.

Texas is 8-1 on the road with our only loss being 3 points in Manhattan.  We've won in Waco and Morgantown.

The B12 Tournament will definitely be worth the price of admisson.

Any of the top 4 teams could win it depending on how the bracket plays out. Huge gap between the top 4 teams and the other 10

Someone on HornsFans (yes it still exists) broke down why were the #8 overall seed and it boils down to - Vic's OOC scheduling sucked, even with the UConn and Arizona wins

#4 NET
#39 NET Strength of Schedule
#189 NET Non-Conference Strength of Schedule

That OOC scheduling is dragging us down.  We have the signature win, but the competition sucked.

#2 seed might be our ceiling.  However, it we reel off 10 straight wins to end the regular season, win the Big 12/#1 seed in the conference tournament and win the Big 12 tournament, we might do enough to be the last #1 seed or the top #2 seed, which keeps us out of SC's regional, depending on what happens in the ACC and Pac 12. I think SC and Stanford are locks for #1 seeds and the B1G winner will get one (Iowa or Ohio State). The final one will come down to the winner of the ACC or Big 12 (if its Texas, because no one else is going to get it out of OU/KSU).

Charlie Creme bumped us a bit, because he has us the #2 with Stanford instead of SC (where the #8 overall seed would go).

Our pod right now is Texas-Albany/UNC-Penn St and the 3-seed pod is Oregon St-UNT/Creighton-Iowa State or Auburn

I would very much like our chances of making the Elite 8 to meet Stanford in that bracket.

Wow tech hasn’t won a game this month (and only one final was close-ucf) and managed 32 points yesterday in losing at Baylor by 29.

unsure if that makes them mad, resolved , and dangerous, or an easy win.

They’ve been decimated by injuries, even before the season started. I feel soooo bad for Gerlich

I don’t, she was a bitch when I reffed.

You have to wonder how long they’ll take her mediocrity, but she is the savior tech fans were wanting when that job came open. To see that dick at WVU succeed in his first year has to have tech fans screaming.

Vic should win NCOY. We lost arguably the top 2-way guard in the country and are right in the mix for a #1 seed.

He should, yes.  I think someone like McGuff is probably a favorite, or Payne at CU.

In the Big 12, JB if OU wins the conference outright.  Maybe Vic if Texas finishes tied for 1st and wins the #1 seed.
