CU desperately needs depth on Defense (everywhere) and the O line.  They'll get there, but the question is when?  OSU may have let up somewhat allowing the TD drives late, but it was a nice road win.

Off to the desert.

I mentioned earlier I've caught parts of Zona games this season late at night with a comment about their QB, but that whole team has been playing with impressive intensity the past few weeks.

Of course they are. Connor Stalions helped Jedd Fisch put that roster together.

UCLA has an elite defense, so I'm not sure what's going on. I figured they would at the very least be ahead by a TD or two

Except you have to score too.

I have no idea if you're pulling my leg or not. All I know is that they took both UDub and Condom to the wire while also beating Oregon State.

Thanks UCLA, I guess I'll be 7 and 3 this week instead of 8 and 2.  Domers and Canes were the other let downs.

So, Zona has 3 losses.  Miss St by 7,  Washington by 7, and USC by 2.  Not bad, definitely something they can build on.

Yes it’s true but of course Fisch denied it when all the sign stealing stuff came out.

So, not only is Stalions a sign-stealing savant at Michigan but also a roster-building guru at Arizona? I hope he got paid more than just the lousy $50k claimed from earlier stories if he's such a difference-maker.

And, to be clear, I'm not a fan of either school and hope all bad things happen to Michigan's program for the scandal. This story linking him to roster building from two years ago and linking it to the success of Arizona now seems tenuous. If there's something tangible there, then fuck Zona too.

Anyway, I'm going to bed now. Horns won, ou lost, aggy lost. It was a good day.

Thursday night brings:

Virginia 2-7 vs Louisville 8-1 on ESPN.  IIRC, Louisville will have some type of glow in the dark uniforms tonight.

So. Miss 2-7 vs Louisiana 5-4 on ESPN-U

Both games show a 18:30 start time.

Ten-hut!  There’s an Officer in the room.

Stand down son!

Angry Arcadians get a late 1st qtr TD.  7-0

With a 2-7 record, Virginia probably had a hard time finding bus fare.

So. Miss kept the Cajuns outta the endzone just before the half ended.  Still tied. 14-14

Actually two really bad calls....the receiver was standing inbounds when he kicked the pylon, refs called no TD on review. Two plays later the RB had two feet in the end zone, still no TD.

Virginia vs Lousiville getting fun. VA gets some explosive plays and scores, then gets a pick-6 on the next drive. 3 and out for Louisville. Then on 2nd and 27 for VA, they recover a fumble and run it like 40 yards for a score.

Can’t be good. On the one replay I saw,It looks like a textbook targeting call. Head to head.

the RB actually ducked his head and hit with the crown.
