Utah badly needs to score off this turnover. 100 degree heat with humidity was always going to be a problem for their defense. They need to give them a rest and a spark.

Both are really really really bad.  What I'm amazed at is neither team sees it necessary to try something different.

Is there any program that is so up and down / such a difference home and away / plays to the level of their opponent good and bad / and always seems to be playing one side of the football well while the other struggles?

It is almost a guarantee that they lose after a big win.

You’re asking this on a Texas board?

Finally a play by the Utah QB, he’s been ass.

Different QB

And right on cue the shaky holding penalty that happens every play but gets called when it benefits a certain side.

idk if I’m allowed to say this but I believe the correct terminology is ‘cornball’.

Good lord these refs.. everytime Utah starts driving.. holding

Seems that way, right?

Both "holds" were the kind of grabby-grabby that you *could* flag on every snap.

This. Dude threw his shoulder into the head/neck area of a defenseless receiver… but nah.

Big12 refs don’t call holding …. Until they do of course.

Man I think you go for two there if you’re Utah. You need a stop anyway. No guarantee your offense, which just scored its first TD, can do it once or twice more in OT. Not going to get a better deal than two yards to win the game at the end of an 8-minute, 80+ yard drive.

Regardless, Barnes is going back to working at Lowe’s.
