Jerry has the whole shebang on one year deals. Dak. Fat Mike. Zimmer. He has a plan in his head. Of course it will blow up in his face.

The issue with Dak is he has a void year or two so he’ll leave some dead cap behind.

Plan is Bellichick.  He and Jerry already had their clandestine meeting and he specifically told Jerry, NO NEW big contracts.  It will blow up in his face as stated.

Will Jerry and Bill go chase young women together?

If this is true, why wasn’t Bellicheck hired for this year? There’s zero reason to let Mike ride out his contract

Cause bill wanted a year off and didn't want Dak on a lame duck year.

Bill at this age without Brady isn't going to be any better than what we have now. He went all in on Mac Jones and we saw how that went. Brady was the reason for the Pats dynasty, not Bill. I can't imagine Bill would ever want to work for Jerry.

Brady without Belichik is likely a career backup. To denigrate Bill as it all being Tom is ludicrous. 10 Super Bowl appearances in a league designed to prevent anything but absolute parity is greatness; bill changed the team several times through the years to make it happen. Did he get arrogant and foolish in his later seasons? Yes but that seems to be a common trait.

Is that a bit? All evidence is that Bellichek's teams without Brady sucked shit. That doesn't necessarily mean that he's a shitty coach and it was all Brady, but it sure as shit doesn't prove or even imply the opposite.

Most evidence.

08, Brady got hurt early and the Pats won 11 games with a back up (Matt Cassell).

Free money is a good reason to work for Jerry.

You’ve got recency bias. Belichik rebuilt his team and strategy every season to gain advantages. Brady’s marriage to Gisele helped both as Tom accepted less money to buy in to the patriots way. 10 super bowls with all kinds of different teams in a league built to prevent it.

Bill got arrogant and lazy after Tom left, with bad personnel moves and terrible staffing. But don’t discount the ravens either. He built it in Cleveland and Ozzie carried it forward in the GM portion.

Well, that and having an owner that circumvented the salary cap by "investing" in his TB12 "company".

The Spurs did this too to keep their dynasty rolling.  Not sure why Dak "I don't care about money" Prescott isn't open to taking less to stack the team.

Would you take less money so Jerry Jones has more money to GM with?

Besides, it's been documented the Cowboys don't spend anywhere near what they should on the roster/football staff. They're near or at the bottom of the league.

Duncan, Gino, and Parker had RC and Pop putting together 5 time champion rosters. A lot easier to trust taking less when you see competence.

It's almost as if the Jones' are a backwater, cash poor, cheap ass, idiotic ownership group with nothing of value to offer the world other than the fact that they own the Cowboys. I don't think they have other streams of revenue for their family like the other billionaire owners.

Lol.  Jerry makes more money on 3 or 4 of his other businesses annually than he does the Cowboys.

Dak shouldn't take "less money" cause the Jones won't spend it anyways.

It's been pointed out recently that they have an "operating budget" and the money the actually make and save on contracts doesn't change that.

Like said above, they don't spend on their coaching staffs or other personnel either.

For the richest franchise in sports, they are really running it as cheap as possible spending less actual cash than anyone basically year to year.

And before the Mac attack he wanted to trade Brady for Jimmy Garrapalo.  Belly seems to have a type.... young, dreamy and shitty at football.

And Belly without Brady is a two time HC loser and DC the rest of his life..... I'm not doubting the guy was a great coach in his time, but he'll be 73 next year.  No thanks.  The oldest HC to win the NFL championship was George Halas.  Yes, that Halas, the guy roaming the sideline winning that championship before the Beatles were a thing in the US.  Arians was next and guess who his fucking QB was..... Yea, that guy.

Check the schedule..... They beat like 2 teams with winning records.  And the AFC East was a joke for most of their run.

He shouldn't have to..... Why don't you ask the same of Jerrah?

Beasley was only a threat at all because of the attention Dez got. Dez and Ceedee are real #1 guys who are playmakers. Beasley isn't even close.

Beasley is a complimentary guy, that said, his route running is what made him $$.

And to think Beasley walked out of his rookie training camp and Garrett went and called him in to coming back. Weenie. Both of em. Jimmy would have sent him to the asthma field.

Beasley took a ton of plays off and would disappear for whole games.

Jerruh is so stupid... never should have done Michael Gallup contract extension in 2022.

2021 season

On September 14, 2021, Gallup was placed on injured reserve after suffering a calf injury in Week 1.  He was activated on November 13.  During Week 17 against the Arizona Cardinals, Gallup suffered a torn ACL on a touchdown, and was placed back on injured reserve several days later.   He finished the 2021 season with 35 receptions for 445 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns in nine games.

2022 season

On March 13, 2022, Gallup signed a five-year, $62.5 million extension with the Cowboys. In the 2022 season, Gallup appeared in 14 games and recorded 39 receptions for 424 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns.  In the Wild Card Round against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he had a receiving touchdown in the 31–14 victory.

2023 season

Following his sixth season with the Cowboys, Gallup was released on March 15, 2024.

Wow, I just noticed we're less than ten days from the "HOF" pre-season game.

image.png.94b4bb1dbb275239cb668d9f5c11588c.png

And less than three weeks before the start of the Cowboys first pre-season game.

It hurts to be looking forward to a pre-season game, but that's what's happening.
