This Alabama team is bad. Never thought I’d see a tide oline this bad under Nick. QB is a terrible decision machine.

Could easily finish 8-4 or 7-5 this year.

Auburn, miss state, and Chattanooga are the only automatic wins i can find at this point.

They were more committed to running with NFL QBs and 1st round WRs from like 2009-2017 than they are now with a guy who should just be running read option every play.  It’s completely bizarre.  Saban honestly should give Rees the old Mann Diaz mid season hook and replace him with somebody who can stomach just calling runs and options over and over again.

Didn't the rape enabler win a game running nothing but read option one time?

A) I don't really give a shit about the SEC and this just adds to it.

B) But if we're fucking stuck joining it, why couldn't we have been in the SEC this year.

With the portal, Bama can’t just stockpile line talent like they used to. The fact they don’t have a better option at tackle than that freshman is telling

Someone on Twitter a few weeks back had a take that it isn't the NIL per se but aggie inhaling DL and OL talent far more than they need that has made other teams (Alabama) bad by default.

That they're squirrelling away all this line talent and then doing jack shit with them so it's actually aggie recruiting that's leveled the playing field

Yup. For all the “Milroe sucks” comments, yea he’s not a guy who should be a pro style QB. This really isn’t hard but Bama just refuses to adapt to their talent

I wouldn't say that, Proctor for his flaws is our best right now.  I think we've finally just run into a bunch of misses.  Stars in recruiting mean only so much, right now Duke may well be the class of the ACC and I doubt they have many 4 stars.  There is plenty wrong with us right now, it would appear to be a combination of misses in recruiting, coaching, and strategy.  Beyond that things are great though.

All that being said, eventually you are bound to have a bad season, and right now this sure looks like it.  It's becoming exceedingly obvious that two great players can mask a bunch of problems, which is exactly what Young and Anderson did the last couple of years.

Saw that too.  Aggy buying all the DL talent is hurting Bama and Ohio State.

Prime Art Briles isn't exactly in the same league as Tommy Rees.

I don't see much wrong with Bama's D.  They seem a little Iowa-y.

Our Alabama win is starting to resemble beating Notre Dame in 2016.

No, we squeaked by a terrible Notre Dame team but smacked around Alabama.

No I believe they snuck it on 1st down when they thought it was 3rd, therefore wasting their 1st down play.  Bad coaching

Rewind, sideline marker has 3rd and they didn't move chains

Bama is going to grind out a win.

Lane talks a lot but never backs it up

Yeah but some of his shit talk is hilarious. Steele probably took it personally

Why are we still using chains?

We're not most of the time.  After a 1st down, they move it to the closest yard line to use the lines on the field to speed things up.

I think at some point you probably see them go to Simpson again at QB. He's their future. I don't see Milroe getting much better.

If they play anyone but Milroe at QB they won’t make a bowl game.
