ToP is 2:1.

if we just run the ball over and over and only mix in a throw every 4th/5th play, their lack of depth and energy on defense will show

This

Plus Q got that int out of his system

We have 340 yards of offense. He acknowledged that we haven’t finished, but yes technically we are moving the ball great.

Great.   We’re Texas Tech.  Deadly between the 20’s

I’m not a coach and I didn’t sleep at a Holiday Inn last night, so can someone explain why Sark didn’t use any timeouts

didn't want to let them set their defense, didn't work

I see you've found a sense of positivity. I approve

Game threads are for outlandish reactions. Like ewers just threw the first interception of his career

Let's just win the damn game and hope Quinn learned a lesson there.   When they showed that all 22 angle it was beyond obvious he should have thrown it away or checked it down and called a quick TO.   Got way too greedy/cocky.

If I just read this thread and wasn't also watching the game, I would think we were getting blown out by double digits.

Effectively. Or we’re winning by 42 given extreme offensive output

We're not but ther should be at least two more touchdowns on the scoreboard.

This is the kind of game where we fuck around, Kansas manages to hang in there, and we have a 1-score 4th qtr where we're all shitting bricks.

342 yards of offense in the first half and 13 ... THIRTEEN ... points to show for it.  Unreal.

Riley + PK would be a deadly coaching duo and win multiple NCs. Sark gets too cute sometimes. Hard to believe it's Sark's offense that's holding us back from reaching our full potential.

Got damn this can’t happen. Counting on this 3rd quarter.

Good thing we always come out and blow the doors off every 3rd quarter.

Yeah, but your comment was about us not moving the ball.  We're moving the ball extremely well.  We just didn't finish drives.  That is a much more fixable problem than not being able to move the ball at all.  Remember when we weren't finishing drives against Bama and Wyoming, and then we scored a bunch of touchdowns?

We're leading a ranked team at home.  Their defense is being worn down by being on the field 2/3 of the game.  We're getting the ball again.  It's not exactly Chicken Little time, god damn.

I'm chill. I got it all out of me. We've shown we can be a second half team this year, so the world isn't ending. I'm glad he admitted that we're moving the ball but not adding points to the board. Maybe the first half was to see what they were about, and the second half is where he puts his foot in their ass

Seriously. A bunch of posters have their panties in a wad right now.

You get a first down across the 50 with what, 30 seconds or so left, and you don’t call timeout? Terrible clock management.  At that point it would be hard to find a way to use all three, so just call it.

It’s a Texas turdition …

If you think we're like Tech, then you haven't flipped over to any part of their game today.  It's like recess.

Bean missed connecting on at least a few big passes when he had receivers open and also had a couple first down passes dropped. We’re very lucky they only have 7 right now. Here’s hoping we turn it on in the second half again.

Defense had something to do with that chief.

I can appreciate that, but letting our guys get set up and make sure everyone is on the same page seemed like the right move to me. Also stress to Quinn about protecting the ball. A TO could have possibly helped us out there.
