Linemen?

Maybe years after they retire, but young men regularly engaging in vigorous exercise/training seem unlikely to have metabolic disorders associated with sedentary lifestyle, even if they carry a lot of weight.

What's extra crazy is that the 49ers got more of a return for trading Lance than what the Patriots, Jets, or Bears got for trading their bust QB picks.

You gotta catch Jerry late at night when he’s almost thru that bottle of Johnny Walker blue.

So inevitably with the 2024 draft under way, there are now mock drafts for 2025 coming out.  Mock drafts are a silly distraction even a few days before a draft but mock drafts a year out are downright comical.  Example:  https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/2025-nfl-mock-draft-shedeur-sanders-travis-hunter-the-top-two-picks-cowboys-take-qb-to-replace-dak-prescott/

Besides the fact that this man has Shedeur Sanders going 1st overall.  He has Princely Umanmielen going 12th just ahead of Quinn Ewers.

Then he goes on to mock Evan Stewart at 21, Kelvin Banks 22, (Lmao) Denver fucking Harris at 23!

But get this.  This fucking hack still lists Evan Stewart - Texas A&M and Denver Harris - LSU.

Pearsall was a huge reach for the Niners. He is a day 2 pick. Kyle Shanahan YAC guy but horrible value there.

Niners pass defense is ass, and guys like Cooper DeJean or Kool Aid could have immediately helped shore things up.

I think they wanted Guyton from OU or Wiggins from Clemson then panicked when they went off the board.

Nailed it, always making the contrarian pick. Resulted in busts like Trey Lance and Javon Kinlaw

Has anyone checked on the accuracy of the Mock drafts?

I was pretty happy, I got 10 picks right in the 1st round.  Interested to see how that fairs against the pros.

I mean 9 out of the first 10 picks were pretty much chalk, so I would guess most people got a lot right this year. 1-5 especially were pretty much guaranteed if there weren’t trades.

Well then I suck...I only got 7 of the Top 10.

But to be fair, my last Mock was before the combine and a few major FA moves.

I was happiest that I got Byron Murphy and X right.

Not saying anything about your mock, just that this draft went more expected than usual, so I’d guess the number right was probably higher this year across the board.

Murphy was a good pick if you got that one.

Schrager had 13 direct hits and I believe 29 of 32 first rounders

I would love to see Atlanta also draft Spencer Rattler in the 2nd.

I looked at a few (CBS, ESPN, NBC/PFT) and they were in the 7-9 range for direct hits.   That's all I'm counting...has to be same player to the same team.

Time for me to go turn pro, lol.

Now that would be insane.  2 qb in the first 2 rounds after spending silly money on a recently injured, older veteran.

They should just draft QBs the rest of the way

Keon Coleman over Adonai!! What!!!

I didn’t want Adonai to go to the Buffalo winter, so I’m fine with Buffalo getting a former Michigan State WR.

Great now I gotta compete with McConkey for prime LA gash

I don’t see Harbaugh drafting a questionable blocker.

Felt that it would be Ladd or one of the top two defenders:  Iowa CB or A&M LB

Adonai isn’t Harbaugh’s kind of guy.

Would love to see him go to Atlanta.
