Ok with Booker or KD WITH Alpi but not FOR him

No way they trade booker

wanting to dump kd is believable. if moved, he’ll pout for half the season

Would rather have D Mitchell over KD or Booker.

Clutch Fans guessed we will make a move to acquire a 2026 FRP because we currently don’t have one.

They were citing the Stepian rule (never heard of) as one of the reasons. Can’t find the post now on that abortion of a message board.

It's the rule that states you can't trade 1st round picks in consecutive years in the same calendar year. That's why you see so many trades that are 1st Round in 2025,2027,2029 with pick swaps in 2026 and 2028.

I have  no idea what is happening in 2025

2026 - we have the worst of picks between us, LAC, and OKC.

2027 - we own ours but can swap with either BRK or PHX

2028 - Own

2029 - Two most favorable of HOU, DAL, PHX

2030 - Own

We traded one first rounder and a swap of Nets picks for two first rounders and and two swap options related to Phoenix but pushed the capital down the road. I think Htownhorn flipped 2025 and 2026.

2024
Brooklyn's pick (#3 overall)

2025
Get the worse of HOU/OKC but can swap it with PHX

2026
No first rounder (Our pick goes to OKC unless in top 4)

2027
Own pick but can swap with Brooklyn
and also get PHX's pick

2028
Own pick

2029
Best 2 picks out of HOU, PHX, and DAL

He’ll get his fair share of looks playing for the Rockets.  Kid can shoot the rock.

His mom sounds like Dolly Parton 😋

LOL get the fuck out of here. His advanced metric measurables are ELITE and he had the best vertical in the combine. He is the best shooter to come out of college in a long ass time. You keep saying we need a “euro shooter”. We just got the best shooter period. 52% from 3.

52% from behind the arc plays into the modern NBA well.

Yep. We were 23rd in 3P% last year.

Love the pick and he’s gonna kill it with how wide open the nba game is.

I haven’t paid attention to the nba or rockets in ages

But I turned on the draft and will trust this users take. Username checks out

Sounds like there may be some trading?

Kinda figured Clingan would fall. He's not a good fit in the modern NBA.

The history of Portland drafting C's in the Top of the draft is not good.

Looks like the type to say “Aw shucks ma’am would ya mind if I fingerbanged you as long as I wash my hands first and then maybe finish with a cuddle?”

Jimmer was a 4th year senior who shot 34%, 38%, 44%, and 40% from three. Sheppard is a true freshman who shot 54% from a deeper three point line

Yeah, Sheppard has legit NBA athleticism. It's not his fault that Calipari is a fucking moron.

Calipari did his thing and promised Wagner a starting spot to land him, and then had to play him over Sheppard and Dillingham

Reed also gets a ton of blocks and steals

He does get blown by on defense at times, but he's not a terrible defensive player, and could even be average if he gets enough stocks and bulks up a bit without losing speed
