SEC SEC SEC isn’t getting left out.  Not a chance.

The entire point of a CFP is to eliminate subjective conjecture and settle it on the field. If it comes down to whether Texas or Bama gets in, the need for speculation this year has already been resolved.

Our loss is worse than Bamas loss

Their loss is to us you fucking moron. Stop trolling. Their loss is worse because it is to the team you are being compared with. We could've lost to 5-7 TCU and our loss would still be better because we beat them team we are being compared against. Full stop.

We have the worst loss though. ESPN is already talking about it. Need FSU to lose.

The head to head trumps the "worst" loss, which might not even turn out to be true.

With 12 teams, 5-6 of them will be the SEC. 2-3 big 10. Then the champs from the shit conferences ACC and b12.

3-4 SEC tops.  With 12 teams, they are going to want to hit all of the markets that they can and not just load it half up with sister fuckers.

Irrelevant, it is head to head, by that logic it means Bama's loss is worse than Texas' loss because they lost to the team that got beaten by OU

Why do you pretend like there isn't different context this year?

There's  H2H staring them in the face where Texas beat Alabama on their home field by 10 points.

Yes. You're right and h2h should matter. Maybe that will force an undefeated conference champ fsu out. But there is zero chance that the sec gets left out.

ESPN is already creating the narrative for Bama. Georgia winning would have been better for us.

How? Georgia definitely would be in over us if it had won. We now have a chance even if we don't get some more help today.

It doesn’t though according to ESPN. They were already talking about it. No way SEC champ gets left out. ESPN has too much money in this for that to happen.

Some people only find happiness in their unhappiness. Since they can’t legitimately complain about our team anymore (though they still try to bitch about any tiny flaw), they have to wallow in their negativity somewhere else.

They had Oregon ahead of us for quite a while.

If we are in, and I think we are. We still want FSU to lose to be 100% sure but truthfully seeding with an FSU win might be better.

If FSU loses we probably go to the Rose to face Washington. If FSU wins we probably play Michigan.

I think we match up better with Michigan honestly.

Not really. FSU losing was always the only realistic chance at CFP.

No matter how many times you say it, it's still dumb. You think they won't leave out the SEC. That's nowhere close to 100%.

Imagine thinking worst loss should come in play when the two teams being discussed for the last spot ya know actually played each other.

Please shut the fuck up.

Again, how would Georgia have been better for us? You made the statement, explain the reasoning.

If FSU wins, they are in and selection committee will pick Alabama over Texas.

Washington and Michigan are other two.

The fact selection committee had Oregon at #5 and Texas at #7 despite the metrics all favoring Texas tells me they will pick Alabama over Texas because they beat #1 Georgia.

I don’t agree with this but think this fuck job is coming if FSU wins.

If FSU loses, Texas is in.

For 5 weeks the committee has stated that H2H matters no matter if it's Sept or Nov. So, are they really going to walk that back? Maybe, but there will absolutely be no reason for teams to schedule marquee OOC games in the future. Think about that, you really think college football wants that?

Thanks, nostradumbass.  You don't know this, at all.  They have explicitly stated that head to head and conference championships matter.

After we beat Tech by far more than Oregon did, we should have moved up.  They chose not to to move us.

The fact that the committee had us ahead of Bama all season should tell you everything you need to know. Fuck off.

Why is Alabama automatically in? Even many in the media don't agree with you. It's not a good look, especially if Texas is your team. It's at the very least up for debate. The committee has repeatedly stated that the difference between the two teams is the head-to-head win. They've repeated it every single week.

No way Alabama is a lock to get in. Texas is in right now if the committee stays true to its word.

I don't agree that Georgia winning was better for us.

But FSU winning still puts us in a difficult position.

The narrative will not be Texas vs a team they beat by 10 but Texas versus the SEC and their 2006-present period of domination.

But hey the head-to-head argument might win out and Bama would have to jump us after winning by 28. Already being ahead of Bama is nice. So there is some hope now.

But, you know, that SECSECSEC legacy.
