This feels like Christmas 1977.  I had asked my parents for a Millenium Falcon toy because Star Wars had rocked my world that year.  And they didn't deliver.   I got some lame knock off from Space :1999.

This better not be like 1977.

I think Missouri over KSU is probably their best win

Yep.   No one could have watched that game last night and think Louisvile is anything other than a C-USA joke.

They should have beat Bama by double digits like we did then!

UGA has to be an afterthought after losing yesterday - think 12 team playoff, they lost - it's between FSU (ugly unbeaten), Texas, Bama for the last two spots - Mich, Wash punched their tickets in IMO

The FSU situation is a really tough one. From a resume standpoint, they 100% deserve to be in. But they will also be potentially double-digit underdogs against whoever they play which is pretty shitty for the playoff.

I’ll be happy to get in at any spot, but I’d like it to be #4.

Being #3 isn’t so bad. We’d likely be in New Orleans in what would essentially be a home game. If Washington is #2, they’ll be pissed.

They’re making it too complicated with all this subjective bs.
1. Undefeated

2. Conference Championship

3. Head to Head

Mich, Wash, FSU, Tex

So you want Liberty and FSU as well then.

Cue "Oh this is different..."

Interesting to see where the books put Texas given the uncertainty of even getting a shot.

I posted this above but Fanduel has us -700 to make the playoffs. They have Bama and FSU close to a coin flip with slight edge to FSU

Who cares what the odds are? They earned their spot and we aren’t deciding the games based on odds

Also as evidenced yesterday we seem to get that much faster indoors and not that the Rose Bowl is exactly renowned for ANY kind of adverse weather conditions you don't have to even worry about wind when it comes to the passing game.  I realize that helps the opponent as well.

I haven’t heard a single person advocate that Texas isn’t in.

this

they are painting it as FSU v. SEC decision

i'm in shock that they have taken the narrative this morning that we are #3 - and they did this before the AP release 15 minutes ago

this looks like we are in

we are in, have no doubt.

it’s bama or fsu for the last spot, and the committee and espn has sent a message all week that they’re unimpressed with fsu despite an undefeated season. i think bama gets in at 4.

Yeah I've had 0 doubt since Alabama took out Georgia. I just want to know if we're playing Michigan or Washington.

I got the Millennium Falcon because my parents loved me.

Me too.  I also got an AT-AT, an x wing, and most of the motley crew from the bar hangout including the green guy with the weird mouth.

I know everyone wants Michigan instead of Washington, but not me.  Michigan's defensive front is scary good and will create havoc.  Washington is good and well-coached, but I think vulnerable.  They barely beat an over-rated Oregon team and the Pac10 looked great early in the year but as the season progressed seems over-rated. Texas can beat Washington.

We can beat both. Michigan can’t score on us.
