It literally doesn’t matter that Ohio St is in front of us. They won’t be next week (assuming we win) we get another positive data point and they are sitting at home with their bucknuts up their butts.

Yet you take the time to post shit on a message board…

I'm talking about the 45 pages of repetitive/circular handwringing and bickering over conflicting philosophies on who should/shouldn't make it, based on a multitude of scenarios, none of which we have any control over, whether it be the games' outcomes or the whims/subjectivity of the CFP Committee.

I'll post my 1000-word thesis later, outlining what should happen should Alabama beat Georgia.  It'll sound very similar to the other 93 already posted and I'll close it out with a low hanging piñata - "if we had just beaten OU..." - for the mentally deficient to whack away at.  :D

I agree but it is a testament to the fucking stupidity of this committee.

Never mind we’re fucked, two of those teams aren’t losing.   Now if we get fucking Tulane in a bowl game we riot.

Two of those teams? We will jump OSU my dude.

Total horseshit. Glad to hear even Herbie speaking logically that Ohio State needs a miracle though.

Ohio State had one realistic shot, beating Michigan.

Oh man! I just came up with a scenario that is great for Texas and also really likely to happen! I’m sure it hasn’t been discussed yet.

Love them some Oregon.  Putting Oregon as the only 1 loss in front of tOSU tells me there is zero chance Texas could jump them.

yup - this had to change in tonight's rankings - and i really thought it would although in the end it still wouldn't matter

Yes, it's bullshit, but it's also what we expected, isn't it?

We'll leapfrog Ohio State if we beat Okie Lite to win the conference.  There's no way that they put a one-loss non-champion in front of a one-loss champion who also had the higher SoS.

We'll also leapfrog the loser of Oregon/Washington, for the same reason.

I feel like if we win, all we need is for Louisville to take out Florida St.  That really should get it done.

If there's 4 undefeateds it doesn't matter anyway. Just gotta hope for that FSU loss.

IT DOESN'T MATTER!!!   the committee upheld the insane AP #5 for jort

tosu is sitting home and for a 2nd year in a row will back in doing nothing

I’ve been saying for 5 weeks the fascination with Oregon was too much. But the we’re Texas crowd was louder.  Style points matter more than strength of schedule etc. because these people are dumb fucks. College and always has been about scoring massive amount of points against shit teams and we didn’t do that.  I hope Washington runs their dicks through oregons tonsils   Louisville will prob shit the bed but let’s hope not

The path has always been FSu losing and us winning the conference. No other scenario was realistic. I still think Louisville will get it done.

I am so glad we play first.

Same as it ever was.
