I guess the european players are better at handling the high winds than the American players.

which they shouldn't since the top ones play in America all the time.

Close to $4 million over the last 2 months.

Not bad.

How much does the winner of the open get?

Zander Lombard wins the Steven Bowditch Trophy with an 82 today.

Ouch
Dude was -4 when the day started

Even Bowditch managed to keep his two rounds under 80 this weekend before missing the cut in Kentucky

Spieth's putter has gone in the garbage

he's got to get that figured out.  luckily he has plenty of time to do it.

flat out choke job by Jordan.....again

The number of times he has had the lead or share of the lead in majors after 54 holes I think is a record for his age. But yeah the number of times he has won after a 3 day lead leaves a lot to be desired

yep even par wins it.  its why you play for par, which he did not.

his first bogey was a par 4, he laid up with an iron to play for par and put it in a bunker he had to hack out of, so even when he did play for par he choked....then the par 5

And he probably lost about $400,000 on that missed putt.

EDIT: Xander lost $398,750 on that missed putt.

$1,093,000 for sole possession of 2nd place vs $694,250 as one of 4 players to tie for 2nd place.

agreed he didn't have it today.  his putter is the main problem.
