The SEC champ is getting in. Period. There is all kinds of logic to prove there are better more deserving teams but that’s just not realistic.  Somebody is getting fucked between us, UW, and FlaSt. But the SEC champ is not going to be the one left out.

Uw isn't getting fucked. They are a lock. Maybe the best conference in the country top to bottom this year. Undefeated. They are an absolute lock and should probably be the 1 over Michigan because the big 10 is a steaming pile of shit. If Seminoles win,  it's either Texas or them that's getting fucked.

Y’all are just too close to the sun on this one. The committee is more likely to put both Bama and Georgia in than they are to leave out both.

How many teams do you think make it?

CBS trash talking FSU. All just picked:

1) Mischy
2) UW
3) Bama/FSU
4) TEXAS

Note: all were either or on #3, none said both.

FOX slimy Vega$ mob-wiseguy-looking guy nicknamed "Bear" just said:

Meatchicken, TEXAS, uDub, BamaJelly  -- and told FSU fans that they weren't going to like it.

I wont be surprised to see UM, Wash, Alabama, UGA. I can see them leaving out FSU and Texas.

This is a dumb thing for the committee to do. They have self preservation instincts so this would be extremely unlikely this year because Texas played in a tough league and in fact dropped a game to their rival. They have the same record as the SEC champ who dropped a game.....to the BIG 12 Champ.  Georgia is on the outside looking in with this loss. We will see with how FSU plays what the committee will emphasis in their decisions.

For all you fine, highly, highly regarded people saying Texas will be left out if FSU wins in favor of a team we beat by double digits in their stadium...I only have one thing to say.....nah

Wrong.

The CBS postgame guys both had it:

1) Mich

2) Wash

3) Texas

4) Bama/FSU

Quite different implications than the way you posted it

Only way we’re fucked is if fsu wins. Then I think they leap bama over us because they’ll minimize our “September” win and say they just beat the number 1 by god jawja bulldogzzzz so they’ll be in. Just need fsu to lose. But I bet money if that happens we will be 4 and bama will be 3. Then you’ll know we only made it because of fsu.

We’re good no matter what happens tonight. We’re in. Bama might need a FSU loss, or maybe an ugly win. Hell, the committee might just outright put Bama in over FSU but it won’t be at our expense.

They don’t give a shit about your worms. They have preferred the SEC over every conference since the beginning of this committee. Y’all are flat crazy if you think they leave the SEC out. Cope with it any way you need to.

Texas absolutely needs FSU to lose.

Just a dirty Sooner trolling.

Future ACC contender and NIL pioneer SMU with the win!

I think SMU is going to be happy with the Sonny Dykes-for-Rhett Lashlee trade.

It didn’t to the Big12 mofos in 2008. 😡

That was a situation where Texas beat OU, who beat Texas Tech, who beat Texas. The computers were a HUGE part of it, as well as some coaches choosing to put Texas several spots lower than they probably deserved. OU cashed in all their style points down the stretch and beat Tceh by 70 points or so.

Here’s the rationale, straight from a dwag’s mouth:

”Regardless if anyone officially says it, the entire NCAA standard of elite football is based on the SEC and we went undefeated all season leaving no doubt and lost to the most dominate program in history by 3 points in a championship game. That matters. We drop 4 spots???? GFY”

That's the most Georgia thing I've heard in awhile.

If they drop 4 spots that puts them at 5 which is just fine.

Those SEC wins happened earlier in the season so apparently they don't count.

Having watched all year it’s obvious to me the best four teams are (in no order) Texas, Georgia, Michigan and Alabama. Those four teams can compete with each other. Every other team is toast.

I think Washington has an argument

Washington should be in that list probably at the expense of UGA.

From what I've seen in this game so far, an undefeated FSU is out.

Or the NCAA/Committee will hand Michigan a post season band tomorrow to clear some of this up.

Two obvious observations:

1) Jalen Milroe is improved by leaps and bounds over the course of this season.

2) Regardless, Alabama has no case to be included in the playoff over Texas. Who's playing better now? Who cares! 'Bama lost to UT in Tuscaloosa, and though the score was close, it's no overstatement to say the Longhorns controlled that contest.
