All I recall as well, but I watched the game on my tablet.
Tyanthony looks like a really good short safety lining up as a linebacker.

I only remember the 4th down stop.  what else?

I guess it’s one of those deals being at the game in a blowout and being able to focus on one player. Sure it was garbage time but the dude is lighting fast and moves with a purpose.

Just rewatched the game. Like Wingo getting up to speed, to fully weaponize this team we need someone to overtake Gbenda. There was an entire drive that UTSA specifically targeted his over pursuit or lack of speed in coverage. I’m hoping Smith can eventually overtake Gbenda.

Watching TyAnthony and LeFau has eased concerns over LB depth..

That said this class is looking very good.

Wingo is averaging a ridiculous 31.5 yards per touch

Simmons is already the best pass rusher on the team. 6 tackles vs UTSA, speaks to him rounding out his game to more than just a specialist. Probably needs another year in S&C before you put him out there vs a power team. Leads the team in tackles for loss and sacks

Gibson leading the team is rushing.

There were times where Simmons looked like the fastest player on the field. His athleticism jumps off the screen.

I noticed that too. Gbenda's run fits are terrible.
