Purdy had a nice career

He’s had like 20 starts with a loaded team and great HC. Still just 20 starts. We’ve seen Lamar, Allen, Lawrence etc…struggle in high stakes games and they’ve been in the league much longer and were all drafted higher. He may ultimately be a backup but if he’d been 6’5” and from a blue blood school and a 1st round pick people would be wanting to see more and blame the weapons or the HC if he struggled. Hes struggling tonite. Obviously. The AFC, to me,  is just better all around than the NFC. Plus, teams used to playing Lamar have a better answer for him. But he’s playing the best he’s ever played imo. His OC will get stolen no doubt as well. But he’s balling. Clear MVP.

Browns at 10-5 is fucking wild.

They are good. Even with Flacco probably playing his best ball (stabilizing force that he is for the team) he’s throwing 2-3 picks a day and they are still winning. It’s a good team. They aren’t sneaking up on people. But they are a team to watch.

Whatever team wins the AFC will win the SB. I don’t see any NFC team being able to match. At all.

Ooh Sam Darnold time. With a caterpillar mustache.

And my lowly Bears should have beat them last week. So much parity in the league. The hottest team in the playoffs is usually the most healthy team at the right time.

Darnold > Purdy ?

You have to wonder what might have happened had he been drafted by a better place than the Jets. But I don’t think it matters. This is a mess with the Ravens attacking the way they are.
