Is Reyna injured cause otherwise, he can't possibly suck enough to not see the pitch.  Forest's left mid is a complete black hole.

What a disaster of a loan move. Would have been better off sticking with BVB. Bottom of the prem is not a good place to be or develop. Maybe our guys will learn that after this one.

Pretty much NO ONE wanted him to go to Nottingham.

It’s heartwarming to see that EVERYONE was right.

POSITIVE: The loan is only for 2 1/2 more months.

NEGATIVE: He added another year on to his Dortmund contract. (IDIOT!)

PS- This Brazil squad is the LEAST “star-studded” since before Pelé was on the squad.

Not Shithousery, xShithousery. And yeah, Pulisic drew the first and third of those red cards.

ok, I do love this one. Pulisic gets yellow while the ref simultaneously gives Guendouzi a red. Thats awesome.

Also love the 3 whammies on the board for Lazio.

That first red... The media is trying to get Pioli to say Pulisic was unsporting but he's saw a free ball, he took a free ball, and then his clearish path to goal was blocked by a take down. Auto yellow. He's under no obligation to play the ball out, that's on the defender trying to win a throw vs just putting the ball out.

There is zero unsporting there. If the Pellegrini didn’t want him getting the ball keep him away from it harder. In the EPL that ball is fought for all the way out. Spain too.

Puli is cementing himself as an absolute legend in Milan.  The difference in how he's viewed by that fanbase vs Chelsea's is night and day.  Fuckin love it!

Both cards:

Richards is having a hell of a game against Spurs today. If he gets in the play, he’s shutting his man down. Just about cutting his half of the field off.

Damn. He won’t be the reason Palace loses, but he let Son get away from him for Spurs 3rd goal. Gave up a gimme for Son. And he was brilliant to that point.

The Guendouzi card was just ridiculously horrible refereeing brought in by Pulisic’s CONCACAF abilities

Pulisic obviously deserved a yellow from continually pulling the guy’s arm, but then he gets in front of Guendouzi and then slams on the brakes so that Guendouzi has to put his arms out in front of himself to protect from crashing into Pulisic.

The contact easily allows Pulisic to flail to the ground, but that should have been a yellow on Pulisic only.

Meanwhile the moronic color announcer that bounces from broadcasting company to broadcasting company working the Serie A for whomever owns the rights that season is asking “What is he doing?” about Guendouzi.

Answer: He’s basically protecting himself after being cutoff.

👏👏👏👏 Great shithousery by the Italian-Croatian-American from Hershey, PA.

Great shithousery, but there is nothing defensive in what Guendouzi did, he basically swung at Pulisic with his right arm. He got pissed and went at him.l

This “inverted winger” shit is why was saying that he was the closest thing that we had to a like-for-like winger replacement for Pulisic

But Pulisic has majorly improved over the last 18 to 24 months.

1) Pulisic  no longer appears to hold the ball too long and dribble into defenders & bodily harm the way he did in late 2021 qualifying.

2) Puli has always been many times more clinical than Dest, which used to be their biggest differentiator.

3) Puli has shown that he can play both sides and create for himself and set up teammates while starting out in the final 3rd while Dest has only shown to be efficient in the final third when he is on a run into that area of the field.
From give-and-go’s to creating his own shot to finding a cutting teammate, he hasn’t shown the ability to do that when already set up in the final third.

That said, even Weah isn’t as nifty bringing the ball up field and then working the ball towards the middle before creating with it as Dest is. Weah’s one trick is extremely effective, but he hasn’t shown the variety…. yet.

PSV Americans are doing us (U.S.) proud.

Chris Richards was partially responsible for giving up a 96th minute goal to Luton Town just now.  It was a last-second ball into the box.  His mark scored, though, it could have been a zone mark.  I'd be effing furious if I was a CP fan.  The mids and forwards were hotdogging it during added time.  There was no concern for ball control and/or running the clock.  They were too busy doing backheels, trick passes, and trying to score.  They ended up turning the ball over, which led to the goal.

Not sure where to put this. Brazil and Mexico are playing at Kyle Field this summer. @MissingInAction and me are talking about a Texas crew to go.

1- Two good teams. I am all about Brazil.

2- UT needs a visible presence. Fuck aggy.

3- We can learn their parking before the football rematch. Again, fuck aggy.
