I would not mind Berhalter displaying his idiocy again.

He’s been the national team manager for 5 years and he’s still a shit-for-brains.

Also:

5:00pm: Pregame on TNT

6:00pm: Anthems & Kickoff

Early start, maybe due to the NBA Finals.

Actually shit-for-brains would be an improvement, that would mean that something occupies the space between his ears.

I fully expect Berhalter to display is coaching ass again tonight and I predict another awful performance. I think we attempt to park the bus, do it badly and probably lose 3-0.

I mean, look at the last 5 USMNT matches.   a 97th minute OG from Jaimica away from being 1-4 and outscored 9-4.

Our form is shit but I wouldn't lump the Slovenia result in there as it was both squads' "C" teams at best. Basically a glorified scrimmage.

How seriously do the Brazil starters even take this match?   Seems like they play for a goal, then do everything possible to not risk getting injured.    Subs on the other hand come in wanting to earn PT vs our scrubs.   2H over 🧐

My thoughts

If we win, it doesn’t matter HOW we play.

If we lose, then it matters HOW we play  and that will be taken into account with how we play in the Copa

I didn’t think that there was any possibility that Gregg would be fired before the 2026 World Cup, but with that international embarrassment vs Colombia, I now think that there is a possibility that he could actually get replaced.

What are you?… related to Gregg Berhalter or something?

If not for a 97” own goal, we are 0-4 over that time period because we don’t play Mexico 🇲🇽, because we don’t play that final.

Gregg Berhalter has sucked since he was hired the first time. He is a worthless piece of rat shit as an international manager and he has no business managing the USMNT.

Actually I have a feeling that South American Machismo is going to be on display tonight. With Colombia flexing hard and kicking the shit out of us over the weekend, I think Brazil might be out to make a similar statement. Especially when you consider ...

Colombia let US have the ball, waited for us to make mistakes and then destroyed us on transition.

Brazil is going to have the majority of the ball. We won’t have the ball enough for Brazil to beat us on a counterattack. They can straight up just beat us. So, we’ll look better but we won’t be better.

Questions: Will McKennie put forth effort in this friendly?  Will pulisic play more than a half? Most importantly, will Adam’s play some? If defense matters more than passing out of the back then Miles Robinson will start.

And if the USMNT thought the Colombia match was an away game...

When you have two consulates in one state, you have an assload of expats to take care of!

Something that always cracks me up, but that we won’t be seeing tonight…

We’re not seeing a “signature win” between today and the middle of July.

Again, it wasn’t that we didn’t beat Colombia, it was the fact that the players came in talking about the 2026 World Cup, they didn’t care about the Copa America or the Colombia friendly, and we got humiliated as the team gave up.

Gregg’s “signature win” was tying England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 0 - 0.

His 2nd best result was beating an over ranked Iran 🇮🇷 team 1 - 0 thanks to a poor shot being saved off the goal line in the dying minutes of the match.

His 3rd best result was beating a jet-lagged Morocco 🇲🇦 team that was missing some of its best players due to turmoil involving its manager. That was a 3 - 0 win against a team that hadn’t really practiced together.

Absolutely nothing indicates that Gregg’s team will deliver a signature win, especially if Christian Pulisic is the designated set piece taker. Set pieces used to be a strength and our best scoring opportunities (as a nation), now they are opportunities to catch our breath.

I remember when we were begging for talent enough to play in Europe.  Now the whole damn team plays in Europe.  WTF Gerg!?!?!?

Well to be fair there is a big debate whether it's better to be a bench player in a better league or getting starter's minutes with another team or in another league.

And to my point - more than half of these guys aren't even starters for their club teams (Turner, Musah, Reyna, Pepi, Ream - who is going to MLS, and Weah).

I think our expectations are skewed because we've always had lesser talented teams that "punched above their weight" through both effort and having a massive chip on their shoulders.

These guys don't seem to have it and GGG only makes things worse.

Excellent.  I've been saying this for years.

Watching the pregame…

When a girl walks with a slouch-> future hunch back (the sideline reporter who I believe plays for Colombia’s women’s team), it distracts me from the questions she asks and how attractive she could be.

I know that she’s doing her job and isn’t dressing up for me, but she’s wearing a skin-tight white top that is bearing one-shoulder, so showing off was definitely the intent when choosing that outfit.

STOP SLOUCHING!!

UPDATE: She stopped slouching once she arrived to the pregame set. 👏👏

She was almost leaning back.

She was kicking a soccer ball while other girls were taking ballet lessons, so it’s not totally unexpected that she is not a posture queen

PS- The pregame round table hostess just pointed out that it’s so hot in Orlando that it is “10° cooler in Brazil than Orlando.”

Ummmm…

1) Brazil is a massive country in both the northern and southern hemispheres.

2) It is winter in most of Brazil.

3) It is an hour later in the evening in most of Brazil, especially the population centers. (But actually 2 time zones later due to the East Coast’s clocks being an hour ahead of what they should be due to Daylight Savings Time.

Lol.  I heard that.  The entire country of Brazil is 80 degrees.

Was thinking that in February, the team’s numbers should incorporate these colors.

…and in October, the numbers should be this color.

…and a variation of this jersey should always be in the rotation.
