Stop sign went up super late though

this.  he said go and then said stop late after the runner put her head down to go.  It is just bad base coaching and he needs to give it up.

Neutral fans also seem absolutely frustrated at that out call at home and how bad the umps are

Not really shining on the biggest stage here

his strike zone is trash too.

Yep. Totally on Maloney, not Mike

she looked at him and he said go because he thought the ball was going through.  then when he infielder got it he said stop but the runner had already seen the go sign and he never moved down the line.

that said.  2 runs and Kavan looking good. keep it up.

except for Stanford!

Even then, he called it a few times as a ball in that last 1/2 inning we batted. It’s inconsistent, but it’s consistently not a strike for TK

got a call there it seems

It looks like she went around. If she didn't, she deserves the strike out for swinging at a ball in the dirt.

"great softball players played lots of sports growing up, so if you want to be a great softball player, you should play multiple sports" is the biggest sports logical fallacy I hear from pundits/parents.

Patty, he ain’t calling that corner.

TK looking good!

Yeah zone on inside of plate getting calls, and even a few low pitches called strikes

great AB.  make her work.

Score more runs and make them consider pulling Canady bc she’d have to pitch tomorrow night in an elimination game

Stewie not feelin it.  We need some muscle behind Atwood to prevent pitch arounds, but I don't think Stewie's the answer right now.

Surprised we didn’t flip Mitchell and Stewie again

Twice Katie swung at the first pitch and pulled it foul, both if she hadn't swung they may have hit her in the hip, they were that far inside.

Yeah, Stewie needs to learn how to better relax at the plate in postseason.  Not always a good thing to swing early in the count.
