So that’s the alternate uniform leak and not the every game uniform/logo? Wasn’t the last leak basically the same thing we already have with minor adjustments?
That is correct. It's the alternate logo.

Well that sucks. I was hoping they would hit a grand slam like the Astros did with their new logo years back.

I don't like the H logo, Just too busy in IMHO.  Reminds me of some USFL logo, from a bygone era.

I they want to put a little more Houston onto the Uniform, my suggestion would be simply to put "H-TOWN" as either a horizontal back of the helmet tag, or as a vertical "stripe" om the back of the helmet.  But that H... is well... I think they were going for more of an old school surfer look font, but they got the wedding planner calligraphy lady's take instead.

Where is he currently projected? I wouldn’t be surprised if that dude ended up being 10+ year NFL player.

He pops up in the 2nd round sometimes in mocks. Brugler has him #88. Has medical concerns. Some wonder about his sideline to sideline speed, but is a good box ILB. I think anywhere from the second to the end of the third is probably his range

Not a fan of the unnecessary, all-black uniform. But, the kids like it and it will sell merchandise which is what the owners and NFL licensing care about.

The other 3 are okay in my book, except for the goofy number font.

I’m pretty sure it’s navy not black.

I've seen Mike Sainristil mocked to Houston a few times recently, and it's worth noting that he's an old prospect, and Houston has shied away from drafting older players high the past few years

Here's the ages of the top nickel corner types. Rakestraw and Phillips have both visited

Ennis Rakestraw Jr- 21.9

Max Melton- 22.0

Andru Phillips- 22.4

Renardo Green- 23.5

Mike Sainristil- 23.6

Updating the visit tracker with DJ's top 150

First column is the total number of visits (local visits don't count), third is Brugler's rankings, fourth is DJ's top 150

Think one thing that works in his favor is that he only started playing DB as a Junior. IIRC he was projected to be a mid Day 3 selection last year, so coming back to up his draft stock to mid/high 2nd round was definitely the right move. I love the way the guy plays, though I’d be happy with Tampa/Rakestraw as well…

He (Sainristil) was also a team captain…and the biggest playmaker on that list.

Forgive if it's already been covered but is this reveal going to be streamed or a tweetstorm or what

TIA

Im actually excited. All leaks had me less than enthusiastic but I think when we see full sets it'll be a lot different than leaked misinfo piecemeal bullshit etc

Anything short of renaming the team the Oilers and going back to the old uniforms was going to be a disappointment.

Funny to me that people long for a franchise that defined disappointment and 'choke' with some sense of longing. Loved Earl & Moon, and the uniforms were great, but they choked hard and left town, and continue to define choking & disappointment in their new town.

Our franchise value is higher than theirs (just to highlight folly of leaving for a smaller market bc the owner had poor business sense), we've won the division more than them, there are few metrics in which we are not the better team.

Let it go.

On to the draft.

As I said before the new unis were fan inspired. They listened to fans in state and out for thier input. This wasn't a scheme by ownership with just thier input. It was fan lead. Now the alt logo looks so much better in person. As does the red helmet. Nobody will care wtf they are wearing if they are playing in afc title and super bowl games.
