If the excuse is that he’s a roast comedian, there should still be some context and presented in a humorous way. You don’t just go up and say “Nikki Glaser is a slut and her vagina smells like trash.” That’s all his joke was “Puerto Rico is a floating pile of trash, lol.” He deserves to be shit on for being unfunny if nothing else.

In all fairness, she's a bit of a slut, but I suspect her cooch smells delightful.

Right now it's sticking and the Election is only 8 days away. Trump can get away with murder and flood the zone with BS everyday, but this piece of shit comedian touched a nerve.

Exactly the thing you have to understand about Trump is that he is an expert of not directly insulting his base, its really his only gift, his ability to call you a shitstain in a charismatic fashion where you don't even take it seriously, but this comedian was so bad at it that he did touch a nerve.

Deplorables love gallows humor, they are the 4chan generation. hispanic Trump supporters are not part of that deplorable culture.

Yesterday was the first time I ever heard of Tony Hinchcliffe or Kill Tony.

I figured with a name like that  he had to be some failed British minor noble, and not an alleged comedian

Based on what? They would've done that already if that was the play. There's nothing in the Constitution about how a party has to nominate the person for President, just that they meet certain requirements to be eligible to be President, of which she meets.

Dude. There’s nothing in the Constitution about locking in the 2nd Amendment to 1789 and only gun laws that existed then, and then not even following that “rule,” but they made it the law of the land anyway.
What part of Calvinball don’t you understand yet? And I offer this as someone who has to pay attention to the SCOTUS and its decisions professionally.
Look at what they did to Christianity

Loved this, it’s spot on:

Here’s a billionaire’s bullshit excuse on pulling his editorial team’s Presidential endorsement.

One thing I SUPER love about this new era is how the powerful feel completely free to spew a layer cake of idiotic lies. How stupid does he think we are?
Of course, the answer is “very, very stupid,” and he’s probably right.
He bent the knee to fascism. Bezos isn’t powerful at all. He’s just another quivering bowl of cowardly jello.

I actually kinda/sorta agree with this in principle, but one of the candidates let his employee get cut to pieces with a bone saw and dissolved in acid, so he can go fuck himself on this one.

You shouldn't. It's cynical nonsense.

I don’t want to think like this, but why in the fuck does it take something like this for you to get “engaged”? Drives me nuts. You are squarely in the sights of the Trump machine.

The Jeff Bezos bit is also a small gift, an endorsement by the Wapo was not news (and they kinda did anyhow in the humor section) but the reminder of the billionare class doing quid pro quo with dirty politicians, is what gets traction, what gets the blood boiling.

Execution of the owner of the Panthers?

Well that's probably just Charlotte.

Well, that isn't political, I think anyone that has ever met David Tepper would be in favor of that.

2020 was 34-37-30 D-R-I fwiw

So - looks like 2% went from registered GOP to Independent in four years.   I doubt that means increased Trump votes.

Does anyone know the breakdown in 2020 of independent voters between Trump and Biden in NC?

So about 19,000 votes switched from GOP to independent, and those voters went majority Blue from 96% Trump.  Me likey.

I thing this is wrong if registered republicans really were a "gross" minority  they would have lost NC, the math somewhere is wrong.
