It was talked about a bit in the past. Dude was a Republican who won in California FFS.

But the issue was always that he could never be President.

California has a history of moderate republicanism, hell Nixon was from there. Their populist politics were very similar to Texas before Texas went full on regarded but they both suffer from being underfunded because they can't raise taxes. California because they allow citizen initiated ballot initiatives and Texas because they are stupid. So both have the most regressive form of tax possible

The first thing he does when given bad news is to go rant on the internet.

and ketchup is involved.

i'm sure someone could make one of those Hitler videos where he's told that he's lost Pennsylvania.

"At least we won Pennsylvania.  Those pedophile supporters love me more than they love JoePa."

"Mein Fuhrer . . . Kamala won Pennsylvania."

"Let's make America great again" was famously used in Ronald Reagan's 1980 presidential campaign.

If there were any enforced standards, half of the Republican ads in Texas wouldn't have been approved.

"Allred wants all the infants in our military to have gender reassignment surgery without their parents' permission."

(I'm Ted Cruz and I approve this message)

what has this country come to ???

Looks like a couple of cops setting up a sign to indicate where the end of the voting line is.  You can't really see the front of the uniforms well, but the little glimpses look right.  It looks like it was posted at 5:54 PM, so that would be after 5 PM, not 2 PM.

Looks like bullshit to me.

Sorry if already posted. But this is not normal is it? I am sure this violates some law somewhere. And it got approved? Really?

An Ohio advertising company has apologized after a billboard of a fake, inappropriate image of Kamala Harris managed to be approved and put up alongside a highway.

The billboard depicted the vice president on her knees with her tongue out, and was reportedly seen by travelers heading westbound on Ohio 16 in Newark, Ohio. Next to Harris' image is a pro-Donald Trump billboard that implied he was defending Americans.

i'm convinced that stuff costs them votes.  for every 26 year old bro that laughs in his 1998 silverado, there are 5 people that understand that the r party means you're white trash.

Need help understanding the "If Trump loses PA he cannot win the election" narrative...

Assuming GA (16), NC (16), NV (6), and NE (5) all go for GOP, and Harris takes both PA (19) and Wisconsin (10)....then doesn't Michigan (15) ultimately determine the winner?

And based on that presumption....Arizona doesn't really matter since neither candidate can get to 270 without winning Michigan?

What am I missing? Why does PA get so much more hyper-focus and media attention than Michigan?

I mean Trump thought he was going to lose in 2016, that's well known.  I take it with a heavy heavy grain of salt but it's not the most unbelievable thing simply because we know that getting your mind around losing the vote helps you focus on the shenanigans part of the election cycle.

I think it’s based on the premise that if PA goes blue, then based on demographics alone there is no way MI would go red.

it's the most likely tipping point, but yeah, it's not 100%.  you can create a dozen different things like this.  they're just each a little less likely than the one before.

Not presidential, but wonder how much of this shit is going on we don't hear about?

LOCAL AND FEDERAL ELECTIONS

Texas State University emails are to be used for school purposes – not for elections, according to an email sent by Texas State University System general counsel a few weeks before 483rd District Judge Tanner Neidhardt used his university email to encourage his students to vote for him in the election that is currently in the early voting stage. His opponent for the 483rd District Judge title, Alicia Key, has responded by obtaining a lawyer to file complaints with the Texas State University Police Department and the Hays County District Attorney. They are also requesting action from TXST University President Kelly Damphousse, requesting that Neidhardt be “terminated immediately.”

Yeah, Michigan is the bluest of the blue wall states.  If Detroit does its thing (and it has been), it will offset any Dearborn fuckery.

Things like that get nipped in the bud fairly quickly because the opponents find out very fast.

CNN just dropped a Harris +5 in WI (51-45) and +6 in Michigan (48-43) and a tie in PA  (Harris 50-47 among "extremely likely to vote")

I'm looking forward to Friday or Saturday when they tell him has no chance in Georgia (they already know).

No, it's a smart move. It's something Trump is unwilling to do. The best Trump could do is say he never heard the joke or of the comedian. She is setting herself apart from him.

Someone like Haley--who has supported Trump in the past--but ultimately drifted away from him (for completely self-serving reasons, but still) at least have a small chance to redirect the GOP while not losing every MAGA supporter (just most). Arnold has been against Trump since Day 1 and hasn't wavered. Even "reasonable" Rs view him as a turncoat.

I'm with @henrygandorf in that Trump has a "to death do us part" hold on the party.  That's also why he needs to be in jail.
