Did you not watch the UT-Georgia game.  Every fucking add for 4 hours was either the Trump or Cruz add about trans people.  Between those ads and the game I thought I was gonna have a stroke.

I had friends over to watch that game here in San Francisco. All those ads kept playing and everyone spent more time talking about them than the game. They'de never seen anything like it. Like, this is what people in Texas care about? This is what's important? We are fucked.

The press better show this over and over and over and over.....just like they would've if it'd been Biden.

That’s not how this works. Are you joking, or just paying attention?

Hysterical news coverage aside, it really does feel like the garbage comment is being amplified as a big deal by Republicans trying to win an election, while the Puerto Rico comments were amplified by people who were previously uninvolved with the political process. Seems like quite a big distinction.

Anyone who says they decided not to vote for Kamala because of Biden's comment wasn't going to vote for her anyway

With 5 days and a few hours until the polls open in Dixville Notch anybody who says anything a non-candidate says or does at this point is going to change their vote is lying.  Frankly at this point in a NORMAL election I would have said that just about anything the candidate says or does wasn't changing their vote but Trump gonna Trump

Ohio gave us Jim Jordan and Vance. That state is full MAGA. It ain’t going blue.

Florida is full of MAGA transplants from other states and DeSantis is harassing anyone with a Harris sign.

Both states are locks for Trump unless something extraordinary happens.

Ohio - I agree with you.

Florida - There may be 3 things pulling it back towards the Dems in the Presidential race and a 4th in the Senate race:

1. Abortion on the ballot

2. Puerto Rican comments

3. Haitian comments

4. Rick Scott is a ass.

Probably true but people generally are dumb and sensitive enough that some measurable number may now feel compelled to go vote when they otherwise would have stayed home.

Too late something Biden said to change anyone’s mind. This is not basket of deplorables that was 2 months before Election Day. 75m people have voted

I saw something where the early voting splits by gender were pretty heavily favored towards women over men in Penn, Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Michigan. If Harris cleans up with women like most expect it could be the women of America that save us from a fascist autocracy. At least for now.

It doesn't matter to anyone who's voted.  It might mean something to a low information person who hasn't voted.

Not sure why this is so fucking hard or maddening.

America has a wypipo problem.

Well, who has the most grievances? You would think it would be women and black people but nooooooooo. It's whiny white people worried about trans people, and boys playing on girls teams, and immigrants threatening everything even though they immensely benefit from illegal immigration.

More women than ever are single, which has some other implications unrelated to this thread.  For this thread, it means more women than ever are unburdened by "standing by their man" when they go to the polls.

It's fucking professional wrestling at this point.

With Trump, it's never not been this. World Wrestling Federation is his starter base. He used to attend the big matches and walk in like a bad ass celeb gangsta. There's a very old video about this somewhere in YouTube.

The spectacle, the posing, the preening, the heckling, the  evil villains, and hero wrestlers, the fact that every wrestler breaks the rules, gang up on single wrestler, etc. That's Trump.

The idiocy of all that perfectly symbolizes MAGA.... who are then exploited by the billionaires and Bible thumpers.

Women and black people will hopefully save our collective dumb asses yet again.

It's the least they could do, after everything us white guys have done for them throughout history.

I’m so tired of them interrupting her rallies for a ceasefire. It’s so fucking stupid.

And they don’t interrupt turnip’s rally when he would be worse off for them.

they’ve give no fucking valid reason why they keep interrupting her’s but not his.

Women are also 55+% in Georgia.

I don't think it's a matter of some sort of orchestration by Trump people. This is probably people who really think it could make a difference since she's a part of the administration. They also know they'd probably be killed at a Trump rally.
