You need to keep a couple of contacts on the other side. Makes it easier to trade coffee for tobacco.

Now how the hell are those of us in Texas going to get enough water to grow reasonable amounts of coffee or tobacco? We'll be lucky to survive beyond blackberry/dewberry season.

Trump just called for Cheney's assassination.

If anyone on this board who does not realize that the holy New York Times enables fascism, and has been for decades during the rise of Tea Party and MAGA, then you are willfully blind.

The NYT "brave" endorsements mean next to nothing when this propaganda and news-spinning is happening 24/7/365.

I don't think I'm not following this conversation correctly. He's calling for the execution of someone who opposes him but are people saying the dems shouldn't make it an issue? I mean, it's part of the overall issue, that he is a completely unhinged maniac with fascist ambitions. It's appalling that he would say anything like that, period.

We're all on edge right now.

The Cheney comments are just bait. And everyone's taking it. Even Hillary is tweeting about it. The clock is ticking and there are more productive things to amplify to voters.

You think there's something better to amplify than this guy is an insane shitbag who isn't fit to be president becuase of his termperment and demeanor? I mean, what do you think those things are? Is it policy?

Are they exit polling early voters to determine who they're actually voting for? I've seen a lot about how many registered Rs and Ds are reporting but a big part of this election is registered Rs who are sick of dotards shit and are voting Kamala to make him go away forever. That's why I think she'll win and it won't be close. I've never in my adult life seen so many open Rs supporting the opposing candidate. I think there are lots of people doing that without saying so even to a pollster.

As I recall, they do poll early voters for exit polling on Tuesday. But exit polls just aren’t that reliable

PA Firewall update:

394k (D-R) - Dems have surpassed this portion of the firewall
441k (D-R and winning indies 70-30)

Should grow some more after the Monday update that covers Fri-Sat-Sun

188 × 0.4 = 75k added for indies, no?

Shouldn't that be closer to 469k?

He was clumsily trying to say that she’s pro war, and let’s see how she likes it if we gave her a rifle and pointed guns at her- ie deployed her.

He’s just an idiot with his words- or I guess trying to add the message you interpreted.  But I don’t generally give him the benefit of the doubt when it comes to subtlety or cleverness.

I think falling for the same out of context bullshit that Trumpers constantly do is counterproductive. Are we better than that or not?  If we forgo truth and common sense like they have, then it's all over.

What happens if Trump wins and not much changes?

DO you think that's likely, even if the only thing that changes is his economic policies and tariffs? Do you think he won't implement mass deportation?

We can't control what/how the media reports things. And I fail to see how involving Cheney got us to this point (the democrats). I do'nt really feel like this is the time to flex the "don't we want to be better" card. I mean, I do, but it's 3 days before the most important election of this country's life. Truth and Common sense are already fucked and we cna wait 3 more days.

We can't even convince half the country that Donald Trump is a dangerous authoritarian.

My brother, at this point for most all of us it's -

Does this help my preferred candidate legally win the election? DO IT

Does this hurt my preferred candidate's odds to win the election? DON'T DO IT

When you are in a boxing match against someone with brass knuckles inside his gloves and his ring man is throwing sand in your eyes, you don't worry about throwing punches that land on the low side of the belt.

That's my $.02

I don't think he'll implement mass deportation, no. That would crash the economy and no matter what Elon Musk says, they aren't doing that by shutting off the supply of cheap labor.

I mean, a +5 Senate means 3 unexpected losses (Casey, Rosen, Slotkin, Gallego, Baldwin).  Polling says otherwise.

Also I worry for putt, listening to AM talk radio willingly.

I always put it in my carry-on, with the toiletries.  Never had it searched.

Never an issue. If you are super paranoid put gummies in a bag of candy, or gummy vitamins.

They don't have time to loot your shit or care about anything but bombs

Just to throw a little cold water on that tweet about the senior numbers: There are a fair number of older voters registered as democrats that love Trump in PA.

Washington county is a perfect example of this. Mondale and Dukakis won Washington county by 18 and 24 points respectively.

In 2020 the voter registration for Washington county was D/R/I 59k/65/17. In the 65+ age bracket there are still more registered democrats than republicans.

Trump won 72k to 45k.

Lost of old school democrats that never changed their party affiliation voting for Trump.

It’s a similar story in a lot of western PA but Southwest specifically.

Good point but same with the R’s in the Philly burbs.  They’ve been trending D for awhile now.
