I don't think that's it all.  The MSG shitshow was just gravy on top.  I'll put it this way, if you've ever pissed off a woman, thought nothing of it, only for her to stew on it and basically quietly declare a jihad on your ass, you know what this is.  Somehow, the old adage, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned", needs to be amended to include attempting to take away their rights.

Republicans have incorrectly thought that they could somehow take away the rights of women and just go ho hum about their business.  Any married man, or man that has been married, should easily recognize just how bad of an idea that is.

I've been hawkish on Democratic chances the entire time, but after seeing the data, and now seeing all this play out, I believe I was wrong in the sense that I underestimated just how big a deal this part of the whole equation really is.  When I think about how angry women are, and how I'd feel if the shoe were on the foot, it's pretty easy to see what is really happening.

Women aren't just about to be truly equal in the election process, the future of politics may well be asking first what it is they would like.

If that Selzer Iowa poll is correct, then it's clear to me:

It's not that male pollsters can't see a clear winner.

It is that they don't understand most women...

especially about Roe.

In other words, typical men.

They don’t even need to understand them, they could look at 2022 and every special election since roe. Instead, they said naw they’ll have forgotten by now- their first chance to vote for POTUS since and a chance to vote against the guy they nominated the justices that did it.

But the right isn’t going to adjust—they’ll just double down.

If Kamala wins (and romps) on Tuesday, I’m curious as to where the radical right goes from here.

I mean they vote more than we do. If you vote more you count more.

Yes, however, the old paradigm is that the doting wife voted lockstep with her husband, who in turn dictated who the family was voting for.  That is obviously an extremely antiquated concept, but that is actually going to prove out to be the big polling miss, and when you think about it, that's absolutely absurd.

That’s been the most baffling thing for me. It’s not that they sold their soul to the devil - we realized quickly that they had no real principles. It’s that they sold it…to HIM. He was ALWAYS going to fuck you over. You could see it from 100 galaxies away. But they were blind to it. Completely blind.
Pretty sure she’d go trans man before cis or trans woman. But in the end she just likes dudes.

Well…we ARE delightful. What with the scratching and farting and not picking up on social cues and whatnot.

But on a serious note about women….maybe we’re starting to see nationwide what we’ve seen in deep blue places like Travis county starting in 2018: WOMEN ARE FUCKING PISSED, and they’re turning out at rates that let them control the outcome of all elections. All of our civil district judges in Travis county are now women. All of them. All the justices on the Third court of appeals are women. Because women showed up at the Dem primaries, and made their voices heard.
If you galvanize women, and they all show up with one voice, you’re gonna do whatever they decide.
And we should be ok with that.

It's probably more like "Amy Coney Barrett siding with Alito" is the little domino, but it's funnier as "Joe Rogan recommends Tony Hinchcliff to the Trump team"

We could put a few more dominoes in and tag one with Tim Walz named running mate!
