I disagree. Staten Island is exactly where you should go, with drummers drumming and pipers piping. Get your hair done up first in one of those Insane Sicilian Duchess pile-up do's so that you command obedience. Whip Staten Island into shape.

If this election results in thousands of women divorcing their mediocre, overbearing husbands, I'd call that a win.

Some might call that a target rich environment.

I don’t remember seeing it. I do remember a guy putting manure down right next to the Colo football field while they had a game going.

If you went through Colo, you missed it.  Same longitude, but on 20.

Also, you were just smelling 250bu/acre corn my friend

Lol.  She'll take 4 flights, on a whim, to Siberia for a long weekend, but Staten Island and New Jersey are (ahem) a bridge too far.

She's safer in Siberia than those two places.

nah nah nah. fuck that.  if we're all going to Chili's, Penelope is going to Chili's.  it'll be absolutely worth it for Harris ending Trump.  she can clean her palate at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal when she's in London.

I guess you don’t have to be a married woman to fuck up dinner plans

O/U on the number of handicap parking spots at each.  25%?   50%?

No Chili's in one of the 4 New York City boroughs we claim

I'm legitimately surprised there isn't one in Times Square. It has all the other middle-America hits.

It’s more that when I saw him my first thought was it’s got to be too dry to be getting a seal behind the knives, and then I quickly confirmed he wasn’t. I’d also like to note as someone who played pretty much all his career baseball games, and most football games bounded by corn fields, the Field of Dreams was pretty meh.

It hadnt rained in months and the pit was probably full.  Lots of non ideal fall input application this year.

Ive never been to FOD.  No desire to.  Wife and I hitting Dubuque for a night out in a few weeks if we get harvest finished.  Great beer/food scene there.

Columbus

So Franklin County went 65/33 in 2020, so my dream would be that the Seltzer Iowa poll is getting some Dems pumped up with the hope that they might have a shot at turning Ohio blue again.  Still seems like a long shot, but would love to see the landslide materialize.

I was just suggesting that @Gatorubet look in more liberal areas of Orleans Parish.

I’m not saying unicorns don’t exist, I’m just saying the red state is very red.  And garden district and uptown money tends to not always be liberal.

Mostly, I was saying don’t go to Metairie or leave the city

The only time it's acceptable to go that Olive Garden is for the NYE party. Which I did the last two years (giving it a skip this year).

First, you’re going to have to explain to me why Olive Garden on NYE is a thing. Much less a thing people wild do more than once. You know the breadsticks are always free, right?

This is a fucking thing, and if it’s a blowout you need to get your ass to a Chile’s. Take the day off if necessary,  but get it done. I’m probably going and eating fucking nothing but vodka but I’m going.

I get it with the manure, it’s just part of me chuckling at the difference between Iowa guys and say Western Kansas guys when I work with both. Dubuque was great, only hit FOD because we need to kill a half hour until the Farm Toy Museum was opening.

Checking in from my cruise. I’m not sure how all of those hoverrounds are going to get on the lifeboat.  I passed several extremely hefty individuals who had to stop from walking up the slight incline, needing rest to get on the boat before consuming, unlimited, smash burgers all night long

Fortunately, I’m traveling right into invest 97.

Fellas, it’s been good to know ya…

I’m not drinking today or Monday because I know Tuesday night I’ll be plowed and then Wednesday, I damn well hope to be at Chilis.

None of us actually think that going to Chili's is going to help her. We're not that crazy.

To be fair, I think it’s less about the inconvenience and more about her feeling NJ and Staten Island are so far beneath her they’re not even the earth’s mantle.

FWIW, Dyersville has a good brewery and Whitewater Canyon is cool if you ever find yourself needing to kill time around there in the future.
