Kamala Harris’s journey to the presidency began in her childhood, growing up in a multicultural family that cherished community and togetherness. Every Friday, her family would gather at their local Chili’s, where the sizzling fajitas and endless chips and salsa sparked a love for both food and camaraderie. It was here, amid the laughter and warmth, that young Kamala developed her belief in inclusivity and the importance of community bonds.

As she grew older, Kamala discovered a fierce admiration for Aubrey Plaza. The actress’s wit, confidence, and unapologetic authenticity resonated deeply with her. Inspired by Aubrey’s unique approach to life, Kamala began to envision a future where everyone could love freely, leading her to champion LGBTQ+ rights passionately.

The more Kamala learned about the challenges faced by marginalized communities, the more determined she became to fight for equality. She often joked with friends that her desire to protect gay marriage was fueled not just by her commitment to justice, but also by her aspiration to one day share a margarita at Chili’s with Aubrey Plaza, celebrating love in all its forms.

Fueled by her love for Chili’s and a heart full of ambition, Kamala decided to take her passion to the national stage. Her dream became clear: to unite the country, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their love story, could feel the same warmth she felt on those Friday nights. With every step of her political journey, she carried the spirit of Chili’s and the inspiration of her girl crush, ready to make history and create a more inclusive future for all.

It’s also fun to have ChatGPT imagine the other side of the story

Once upon a time in a bustling city, a young Donald Trump decided to treat himself to his favorite indulgence: baby back ribs at Chili's. He had been looking forward to this meal all week, imagining the savory flavors and tender meat. But when he arrived, disaster struck—the restaurant had run out of ribs.

Frustrated and disappointed, Trump found himself staring at the menu, forced to order a salad instead. As he sat there, watching families enjoy their meals, he felt a growing sense of injustice. Why should he, a man of success and ambition, be denied his craving? The salad felt like a symbol of everything he despised: compromise, mediocrity, and a lack of control.

In that moment of resentment, Trump began to see the world through a different lens. He became fixated on the idea that external forces—like immigrants—were to blame for his misfortune. To him, they represented the chaos that disrupted his vision of a perfect society, one where he could always have his ribs and never settle for less.

This incident ignited a fire within him. He began to embrace a narrative of strength and authority, vowing to take charge and restore what he believed was rightfully his. No longer just a businessman, he transformed into a figure driven by the desire for power, promising to rid the country of the elements he deemed responsible for his salad. Thus, the seeds of his authoritarian aspirations were sown, forever altering the political landscape.

Well, I told Mrs GOTJ about the Wednesday Call to Arms (full of drinks & skillet queso) @ Chili's. Since she waitressed at one part time for a couple years as an undergrad thirty years ago & her ex actually managed the one off I35 by Lincoln Village she said "hell to the fucking no."

I may swing by the Chili's off Pecan Park by Lakeline Mall for a quick beer or two.

Tell her she should be shame for supporting Trump and his hate for Chili's. lol

Hadn’t seen this posted elsewhere but this is the Harris campaigns guide to when you can expect votes to roll in.

If this race still isn’t called by Thursday I’m going to have aneurysm and a lot of chili’s are going to run out of chips and tequila.

We have one of these guys Sean Still, how is indicted for being a fake elector, running for state Senate here, and he's in a highly Republican area and likely to win.  Interesting though, we have young guy named Ashwin Ramaswami running against him and spending money advertising against him.  Ramaswami is all of 21 years old, but he's giving it a go.  I highly doubt national money is going to this, and I do at least find Ramaswami's claim to be a successful small business man to be at least humorous (again he's 21 years old).

There is, however and interesting aspect to this, the area that is being contested, while highly Republican, does have a significant and growing Indian population.  I'm interested to see how that plays out.

I'm sorry.  This is bullshit.  These states need to be able to count their votes for fucking Thursday.  This happened last time.  It was Friday and Saturday and they were still dicking around.  Meanwhile, states like FL are essentially done that night.  I understand the reasons but there needs to be some uniformity.  Otherwise, you get the election conspiracy types.  "THEY'RE FINDING VOTES!!!"

Washington crossed the Delaware in the middle of winter at night for this nation and you can’t be bothered to cross the Potomac?

ZQXSSFM Crossing The Swamp with ...

List of figures from left to right: Nikki Haley, James Mattis, Ben Carson, President Trump, Jeff Sessions, Mike Pence, Melania Trump, Mike Pompeo, Sarah Sanders, Ivanka Trump, John Bolton, Kellyanne Conway, John Kelly

And Donald Trump crossed the swamp with a bunch of rinos that have gone on to say he's a fascist and a threat to democracy.

Anyone who votes for anyone other than Kamala Harris is an absolute idiot.

If you have the chance to vote against Mussolini, you do it.  You don't need to know the other candidate's platform.  You don't even need to know their name.  You just show up and vote for not-fascism.  Or you could vote for not-convicted-felon.  Or not-rapist.  Or not-racist.  Or not-isolationist-nationalist-xenophobe.

How can so many people not understand this?  If you're still undecided, or you're considering a third party, you're too stupid to be called a moron.  We need a new word.

Like that we are coming around and comparing Trump to the fascist that more aligns with his being a colossal grifter and failure and needing to get bailed out constantly…

unfortunate last name

Well, on a positive note for the future he has the opportunity to redeem the name, and no one is going to remember who the fuck Vivek was in about a year beyond political junkies.  Hell, 90% of Americans couldn't tell you who Vivek is now.

The kid has a shot a carving a political future if he wants, he may just need to pick a more favorable district.  This is clearly a young man with ambition, so I doubt he's a one and done kind of guy.

Closest Chilis is in Alexandria, VA.  I love you guys, but I am not crossing the Potomac for you

While Armybrat did indeed think that, he never actually said it to General Washington.  You should reconsider.

DAMMIT! 30 seconds late!

I feel like some areas of this tale could benefit greatly from additional detail. Go back and put some more quarters in the AI machine. And don't be  shy about dropping in a video prompt.

This exchange includes "I have the right to choose in Michigan, so why should I care about a national freedom to choose?" The selfishness of that argument is the opposite of Democrat ideology and just exudes Trumpism, and I bet she already voted for him a week ago.

It's as if MAGA lives with a different value system- I Got Mine, F U- and needs to be shown the practical long-term benefits to everyone, including themselves, of having a critical mass of of the population that adheres to treating others the way they want to be treated.

Am in allowed to go to Chili's on Tuesday afternoon instead of Wednesday? My night shifts start Wednesday.

Time to start working on that "cough" and throwing out mentions that you really aren't feeling great today, but you can power through whatever is ailing you.  Because you're a team player.
