This is true. In fact, there are so many that we came up with a specific term to describe them: “stupid fucking morons.”

Fuck him. He bought his ticket. You want to side with the worst of humanity then don't be shocked when your siding with them goes very badly for you. We've give him a Medal of Freedom.

Protecting the right to play stupid games and win stupid prizes needs to be introduced as the next amendment to the Constitution.

Umm, no. Address it before a catastrophe.

What are we supposed to do about it in November 2024?

Can we please just get through 2024 before we start to freak out about FL's electoral votes 2 elections from now?

There’s a lot of people that think both have gone too far away from center, it’s not like this is something new.  There’s plenty of charts and polls over the last ten years that prove that.  Sorry for having a different opinion than the norm in here.  There’s not much of a debate that both parties have gotten further and further apart steadily in the last ten years.  Are they the same no but good lord it’s shouldn’t be bad to point that out and negative reactions to that just prove the point more.

Your retort to my comment that points out your feelings are silly and have no merit is to cite two sources that talk about feelings and not actual facts or policies.

If you were a serious person you'd start to ask yourself why your position is based only on feelings and not real world policies and consequences.

he (trump) understands "they're trying to swamp the vote with uh, disgruntled female voters, who, uh, their main focus i guess is abortion."

"they're very confident in pennsylvania, even with the glitches and so forth".

The last ten years? Obama was as centrist as you can get. I feel like the center was firmly and passionately rejected in 2016, in both parties with centrist Republicans being 'RINOs' and centrist Dems being "Corporate Democrats".

Ultimately if the voters want things to be more centrist than they need to stop fucking sitting out the primaries because centrist candidates typically get annihilated in those. The fact that nobody shows up to the Primary elections and then bitches about the candidates it produces never ceases to enrage me. Look in the damn mirror people, that is the problem. If you don't show up, you don't matter. And if you make your views not matter, then they wont.

Not to mention it won't be until 2032 when it becomes really relevant.

The story about Robinson has to be impacting the NC vote. There must be republicans staying home due to those wild stories about him.

Also the lies about FEMA not helping.  My friends in NC are fucking pissed about turnip hampering clean up efforts after Helene.

Well, you shouldn't cite a NYT OPINION column as proof. Becuase it's literally an opinion. Let me ask you a question, instead of citing opinion pieces, why don't you tell us actual policies the democrats have put forth in the last 8 years that you consider radically left.

I'll hang up and listned, signed a 2016 Registered Republican who considers himself a Centrist.

Fun fact, being a centrist basically moved me to the fucking far left of where the republican party went.

k.a. conway says that kamala made the big trade giving up on rural voters and going all in on white educated women, who already were voting dem from 1992-2020. someone told her to ignore georgia and other non-blue-wall states, and she's going all in there, which is a mistake, turning her back on so many voters.

ariz losses were largely due to confusing voting rules, "take your ballot to blah blah" i can't keep up.

she thinks trump wins bucks county (pa) because voter registration.

And I agree with the last part 100%.  Read one of the articles maybe though too.  It’s a trend that started a while back and has definitely gotten way worse since Trump.

bream - trump is turning suburban women because they don't feel safe, border issues, etc.

lawsuits/complaints have been "pretty even from both sides". but feels more organized, and resolved quicker.

now they're playing andrea mitchell clip from msnbc "there are a lot of men, both black and white, who simply don't trust a woman to be chief executive, commander in chief".  now laura i is saying how sad it is that people think that way. "i don't understand what her point is, but it's very very negative". (laura talking about mitchell).

The time to worry about that is in 2030, not 2024.  Not even 2028.

Not if the hurricanes have anything to say about that.  And honestly, I'm good if we cut off disaster relief to FL going forward.

Uh, okay.

You mean the rural voters who vote 80-20 for Trump and are a shrinking demographic?  While college educated women is a much bigger demo and growing.

Dude I love you, but you are wrong as fuck. Trump is as extreme as extreme can possibly get it's not really even on the extremism meter that's how fucking out of bounds it is. Kamala is whatever, and the way she sees America moving forward maybe different than the way you see it, but she's not going to shit on the constitution, dismantle the checks and balances and ruin the entire foundation of what makes America, America to do it. That's the difference.

I’m not freaking arguing Trump isn’t an extremist at all.  Just the fact that both parties have gone more away from center, that’s it.  Which with polls of democrats since Clinton have proved. The other side I don’t even need to quote articles to prove obviously. I don’t understand why wanting both parties to be more center is a bad thing. The fact you have people like @Dahobbs and @Brisketexan negging anything they don’t agree with kinda proves my point.
