Serious question.

NYT is going to start up their fucking needle soon. Are we going to have minute-by-minute fucking updates on which way the wind blows it?

(please no)

compoletely honest take. 3/10

Noodles look cold and there's way too many of them and they aren't the kind I like. The veggies look like shit, the meat looks like it's been pre-chewed and way overcooked and the broth is hella cloudy instead of clear and stock like. Would not eat.

Yeah. It looks like shit. I don't think it even qualifies as pho. Maybe 2/10.

it's crazy to think how many people around the world are losing sleep over this election. so many lives are at stake in this election, here and worldwide. hope we win.

I haven't seen @YChang post in a bit, but I'm curious to know the mood in Taiwan (I thought I read that he was there).  Apologies in advance if I have that wrong.  I would think they nervous as shit.

I can't imagine the nerves of the Ukrainians, Poles, Latvians, Estonians, etc.

They're losing

I am of the opinion that, this time, only his most fervent supporters give this any oxygen, while the rest of us, even many of his voters, roll their eyes and say, "This shit again?"

In 2020, I had otherwise smart people I know talking about dead people voting. I'm guessing not this time.

I just feel like today, we're right here:

And remember, Ike wrote two statements for D-day.  One in case of failure.

The world is watching.  So much is in the balance.  And it will be decided as it was before, by ordinary men and women.  The part I just can't believe is that it is our fellow Americans standing on the shore, intent on destroying us.

The world is definitely watching. I am watching RTP3 (Portugal) covering the election live, commentary and all. With very few exceptions (the Chega party idiots) they want the same result most of us do.

The sad reality is the GOP is going to get more crazy regardless of outcome.  There will be no autopsy report or constructive self reflection.  They will always place blame elsewhere.  This Trump campaign was the worst run campaign I have ever seen… somehow worse than his 2020 campain.  If Trump wins, it will call into question a litany of firmly held assumptions surrounding the efficacy of modern day campaign tactics and Dems will be the ones in need of reflecting.

Judge Baker stopped short of imposing sanctions on counsel for the GOP. But it was a blistering public reprimand.

If we know one thing, blistering reprimands are very effective against MAGA.

If he wins, there is literally nothing left for the democrats to do. The country will have chosen full on christian theocratic fascism. There isn't any other way I can see it if that were to happen.

The reaction is visceral becuase people keep asking you to name ONE policy, and you refuse to do it (becuase you probably fucking can't) and then you whine again and again about people not reading your fucking lame ass OPINION piece article(s).

If you want to engage in good faith conversation, you should try acting in good faith. So name a democratic policy that is super far left. Was it  the Infrastructure Act? Was it the CHIPS act?

it's the equality act, it's what cruz runs ads on against allred, somehow a revamped civil rights act where gender identity and sexual orientation are codified next to religion, race and sex as attributes against which you cannot discriminate is so radical left we cannot abide.
