@immamac what are the odds the site goes down tonight? I’m gonna need my surly fix

None barring an infrastructure failure in Dallas and Chicago.

Pennsylvania’s early voting system sucks. They need to fix it in their next legislative session.

Texas has better early voting than Pennsylvania

In PA, you can't cast an in-person "vote," you cast an in-person absentee/mail ballot.  And it's like 1 place in each county you can do it, so in places like Philly, it's not worth it.  Might as well wait until there's 100+ precincts open on E-Day

You have to re-register for a new mail ballot every single election

Hopefully those new white voters in NC are the super educated ones who moved to Raleigh/Durham mostly

Have the demographics there changed, or is this just pure hopeium?

Enough good news elsewhere that NC might just be padding the win.

Ahhhhhhhhh i said this morning that O'Malley-Dillon was referencing Florida the other day - do not read too much into Florida's results, bc it's now just red NY.  How FL votes is not going to affect how any of the 7 swing states vote.

Florida is a red state. Just like Ohio, just like Texas. Anyone dreaming of a flip of any of those three is not living in the real world.

IOWA might be bluer than Florida this year.  Seriously.

Saw some reporter in Florida today who said she talked to several voters who voted for the abortion initiative but also voted for dotard.

I mean...what the actual fuck?

I'm hoping abortion + pissed off Haitians and Baricua push DMP over the top.

I've donated more to her campaign than anyone else.

I think by definition, when we're dreaming we are not living in the real world. Let the dreamers dream. Hopefully they do not awaken to a nightmare.

It is. There's just some people who are very excited.

I was going to kick my friends out tonight and head up with the wife. Again, she likes their margaritas so we could go back tomorrow.

We need a Surly calendar.

Come on, these people are human too and under extreme stress, pressure and scrutiny.

No I mean that there was no way everything went smoothly for a quick count. More important to get it right so fully support counting those over.
