Chelsea 2018-2019: Sarri, not sorry

Well looks like Roman saying something to the effect of I didn't purchase Chelsea FC to make money has some more meat to it.  This is a tier 2 source out of Spain.

Translated:

"The @ChelseaFC closes the door to Hazard, reminding him that he had been given until April by the deadline to tell them if he wanted to leave the London club, he would have the Transfert Request as the only viable option to leave."

In addition, this Tier 1 source states more or less Neymar or no one this window.

And now this

Link - Translation below

Courtois has an expiring contract and intends to go to Real. But before freeing him, the English club wants to be sure to take Alisson. The last hours have been intense, the next three to four days will be hot. Chelsea knows it has strong competition from Liverpool, but pushes with the confidence to climb over the Reds perhaps proposing a higher salary to compensate for the possible disappointment of the Brazilian goalkeeper not to be able to play the Champions League. It’s a fight on the wire, with Courtois involved. Rome awaits, in haste, wants everything to be clear by Thursday, at most Friday. And on the figure does not give a centimeter, at least 70 million. With Areola, we have reported for some time, destined to collect the legacy of Alisson, Olsen alternative. But always if the operation was defined under the conditions of the Giallorossi club.

Liverpool are closing in on Alisson. So surprised that our board is dragging their feet.

I find it funny that most of our fanbase are absolutely fine with use spending more on Alisson than anyone in the history of the club. I only watched him during the world cup and wasn't overly impressed but God Damn that's a ton of money for a goalkeeper.

I find it funny that our fanbase wanted to fire a perfectly good coach when the club is going to do exactly the same thing that caused him to fail in the first place by not getting good enough players.

The majority of the fanbase loves Conte and was not interested in firing him at all.

There is more money than ever associated with the sport, particularly with US interest continuing to climb. I don’t see what club records have to do with anything where the transfer market is concerned. The cost of winning will continue to climb, and Chelsea can’t afford to hide behind precedent if they want to remain competitive.

This might trickle down to us but who knows.  Don't see how he fits into our team, but...

[EuroUnited] Miralem Pjanic is now represented by Nikola Damjanac, an associate of Pini Zahavi and Fali Ramadani. The Bosnian international is now considering a departure while Juventus wishes to extend his contract.

Ramadani is currently our temporary sporting director and just closed the Napoli business and is thought to of just closed the Rugani contract.

Di Marzio posted this yesterday

Juventus, Milanese dinner for Pjanic with Ramadani. And with a view on the future ...

  Quote

The bianconero midfielder met his new agent Ramadani, who could have explained to him the new plans of the Chelsea of Sarri

Dinner in Milan for Miralem Pjanic , Juventus midfielder who was intercepted outside a well-known restaurant in the city center. A few words dedicated, of course, to Cristiano Ronaldo: "A great blow for Juventus, certainly a great one."

The evening of the Bosnian midfielder, however, did not focus on the words released at the exit: the former Rome, in fact, was at dinner with Fali Ramadani , his new agent, at this time particularly close and linked to Chelsea for various market operations carried out. Not to be excluded, in this sense, the possibility that the prosecutor has explained to his new client the plans of the club coached by Maurizio Sarri, in anticipation of a possible farewell to Juventus: the will of the club and the player is however that of stay in Turin, with a still unresolved renewal issue. And with a possible intention, for Ramadani, to push for a transfer of the Bosnian.

Also, team just landed in Perth.

Apparently the game is only being broadcast from this link.

Many have suggested if you get the "Content isn't allowed in your area" to do the following.

"Easy solution may be to get a VPN plugin for either Chrome or Firefox (it will be very easy to work, even with minimal experience) and change your location to appear as Australia. At that point you would be able to watch the stream you linked."

You can also do the pay VPNs as they generally do not sell your browsing data.

Also if I didn't already have enough respect for this man.

Winner of the World Cup, N'Golo Kanté must surely dedicate this victory to his big brother, Niama, who died before the competition.

N'Golo Kanté has emerged as a pillar of the France team during the World Cup. The French, great craftsman of the final victory of the Blues, must however contain a great sadness, that of not having raised the cup in front of his big brother, Niama. Indeed, he died of cardiac arrest before the competition. A member of a large family of four sisters and four brothers, the Chelsea player was able to count on the support of his family to overcome this sad moment. This tragic accident is the second family tragedy that the athlete has to overcome after the death of his father when he was eleven years old. Discreet, timid and humble everyday, the native of Paris showed a strong character and returned to the heart of the French during the World. The latter even dedicated a song to his effigy, "He is small, he is nice, he crunched Léo Messi, soon on the Champs-Élysées, N'Golo Kanté". This was taken by his teammates in Istra but also at the Elysee during the celebrations of the title of world champion.

What's with our players handcuffing us on transfers.

Alvaro Morata has chosen Milan, the return to Italy is his priority. For now the striker will not consider any other alternative, Morata is now awaiting for the verdict from the Court for Arbitration for Sports. Morata doesn't mind partaking or not in the next Europa League, Milan has always liked him and maybe he wants to be forgiven the sudden repentance in June 2017 when he had chosen the Rossoneri and then quickly changed his mind. Sarri likes him very much, the dialogues have been profitable but Morata knows that with the eventual arrival of Higuain his role would be very restricted. And the call of Italy for personal reasons puts Milan today in a position of absolute privilege.

One last thing: we will need to wait for the verdict for the appeal (Friday) and the Boards of Directors meeting (Saturday), however Elliott has expressed its desire on the young striker. A situation that opens a new door for Morata, now its time to find the agreements with Chelsea. Except for surprises, for not foreseen. Morata has chosen Milan, which is a mutual feeling.

In regards to the Inter game...

Barkley actually look serviceable in the midfield with Jorginho. CHO is already better than Musonda. Ampadu is a steal. Tammy looked confident, but should've done better with that sitter. Our last year players all look to be transitioning well to Sarriball except for Alonso, Bakayoko and maybe Moses. Morata looked more involved, but not anywhere near what he cost.

I hope AC is ok, looked to be in a bit of pain at the end of the match.
