I don't even know what this tweet means.  Fucking morons.  Guess I'll be sure to check my email to understand something that someone did last week. Glad I'm not on vacation.

Definitely shouldn’t…

But also would.

Definitely would. But what we understand as would is not what broke dick Elon is talking about. He is talking about another round of IVF because his penis doesn't work and he thinks sex is yucky.

Screenshots of the email itself are circulating and the “failure to respond” ultimatum is not in there. Unsurprisingly since it’s established law that federal employee resignations have to be voluntary.  I’d not open the email and just wait for any actual agency guidance.  OPM has no authority to fire or accept resignations except for OPM employees.

Very early in my career, I worked for telecom company where new management took over and required daily updates like what Elon is requiring.

Some of us spent more time writing daily updates than actual work. It takes a lot of time to throughly document the most mundane tasks.

- Launched email client. Synched email client with mail server. Began reading email marked as unread. Discovered an email stating my password in the ticketing system was going to expire. Made a note to log into ticketing system to change password at a later time. Continued to analyze the importance of various internal emails I received. Began Multitasking by checking the voice mails on my desk phone while sorting and analyzing email.

The reality is that Elon will feed this into AI and begin blasting what he thinks is evidence of fraud, waste, abuse across Twitter.

Yes, more than likely.

Yes but think of the havoc and potential comedy

With regards to  the new OPM announcement/email, most government HR departments are already overwhelmed and understaffed, and they and legal have to spend enormous amounts of time and energy answering legitimate questions about this stupid shit.  This is the exact opposite of government efficiency.  Most government employees want to do their jobs to the best of their ability.  Fuck off Elon, you pathetic leech.

  1. I opened my email client
  2. I read the email
  3. I created this email with 5 bullet points
  4. I added my manager to the CC
  5. I checked the deadline to make sure I wasn’t late
  6. I sent this email.

I know you said five bullet points, but I wanted to show you I was a real go-getter with upper management written all over me.

Signed, an overworked and underpaid federal employee.

Ya know, if it wouldn't absolutely overwhelm the already stressed or end up on some trailer to a camp, one can come up with a lot of interesting responses to that email. Think of a USPS employee who works at the service counter and deals with the citizenry. @RDCanecutter could write a creative week's worth of gold here.

I would respond with Trump's exact schedule for that week.

"Played golf.

Tweeted at 2am.

Played golf."

Or the tried and true "many important meetings and phone calls."

I would get ChatGPT to write my bullet points.

Maybe an entrepreneur could start a website that tailors bullet points for these people.  Make it a weekly subscription of say $5 and you'll be retired on a beach collecting 20% in no time.

Employees have to summarize their week with five bullet points? I assume that Grok AI will analyze the bulletin points and decide if the employee performed well enough and if the job is needed.

I hope the AI is secure since I assume that some employees who work in sensitive areas will have to respond with detailing said secret tasks if they want to keep their job.

as always who elected Musk, a recent citizen, and his AI to rework the entire govt labor force, that even the president can’t fire.
