Very excited for Elon to end his next speech with "sieg heil!" just to see how many defenders claim he was actually talking about the weather.

He didn't say Sieg Heil, he said....Zig Hile. His Jewish friend he played baseball with.  But you wouldn't know him.

Dude, believe me. It already is. That shit is a God damn religion. Whatever credibility that fuck nut had with nerds is gone.

This is a great teaching moment here.   I suggest you instead respond with something like the following:

"Goddamnit Elon, now I drive two NAZI cars? (Tesla and VW)"

"I didn't know he was a Nazi when I bought it" (or the overused "I did NAZI that salute coming"

"I wonder if NOTANAZI license plate is available?"

We can put them on Teslas in the wild. "Not a Stuka"

Gotta tell ya....I think a Focke Wulf 190 would be a more fun ride.  So, if I'm gonna collaborate with the nazis, gimme coolest ride (I like the piston engine fighters, even though the ME-262 is a sweet chariot as well).

They were sleek. But the stuka instilled fear. And that is what Herr Elon wants to do.

For his ego you would need this badboy.

A cybertruck was parked on my street earlier this week (for real). I thought it was our neighborhood's annual city dumpster days (kinda for real).

So when I say that Elon Musk gave a Nazi salute at Trump’s inauguration on Monday, I am doing so only because I can see no other plausible interpretation of his gesture.

I watched the footage from as many angles as I could find. He stuck his arm straight out, palm down, and pointed it toward the crowd in a gesture of tribute. He put his hand on his heart first, a variant of the Adolf Hitler salute popularized in American History X — a critical film about neo-Nazism that some on the far-right have reclaimed as a celebration. And he did it twice.

If that’s what you saw — well, I’m with you. And it’s what neo-Nazis themselves saw; Nick Fuentes, the Hitler admirer who dined with Trump in 2022, described Musk’s gesture as “a straight-up sieg heil, like loving Hitler energy.”

Or this BMW, Benz, VW, Audi, Toyota , Mazda, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Datsun/Nissan, Maserati, Fiat, etc.  Volvo and Sweden were neutral in WW2 and not actively anti-Nazi.  Ford supplied Nazi Germany leading up to the war and used French PoWs in their German plants in 1940.  GM owned 80% of Opel up through 1940 and contributed to Nazi military buildup.  Stellantis is silly with former Axis support, so Chrysler, Dodge, etc are out.

Guess we should all shift to Hyundais and Kias?

Where did I say any are better? Or did I touch a nerve? I am sure some tesla owners at a biergarden will make you feel better.

Stukas got good mileage as well. Just saying.

Also, at least those companies made shit that was good for offroad military action. Imagine the 1st Cav being told to go forward in CT's? LMAO. "Sir, we had to stop, they dropped a 6 inch log across the road."

I have a Tesla.  I love it.  Trying to get rid of it now.  Fuck nazis

Elon already got my money four years ago.  My deal is with the bank.  Nothing I do with the vehicle now can hurt him.  In fact, the people looking to take it off your hands at this point might be active supporters of his recent behavior.  Why would you want to help them while taking a financial hit yourself all to make yourself feel better and virtue signal?

Just slap a "Fuck You, Elon" bumper sticker on the back and keep trucking.

Lots of banks made money thanks to nazis. Just saying.

Thats why I only bank with the swiss. You know your money is dirty and you don't have to pretend.

I did recommend the "Not a Stuka" sticker. @GenXer is having them printed out in a slave shop in Soweto as I write this. Where can we ship yours?

(See GenX, I told you there was a market.)

Can you provide a list of brands that currently have Nazi CEOs? I’d like to know so that I can boycott those brands.

Doesn't matter.  Time is a flat circle, right?  Whether the nazis  are in the past, present, or future, we have to show our outrage.

My purchase occurred 4 yrs ago, before Musk revealed himself as a complete ass.  It's ridiculous to expect an individual to divest themselves of a major purchase at a loss to protest new revelations of a CEO's character.  It's just as ridiculous as what I proposed above.

If I were an individual jumping to purchase the new Model Y today, boycotting might be a discussion worth having.

I think their nazis died by now. However, the CEO of Tesla is alive and kicking. We know cuz he was schooling 16 year olds in some game forum this morning while tweeting and planning a colony in Greenland. Rumor is the new amphib CT is the rage with the USMC.

I'm not thrilled about it, either, but I'm not about to take a big financial hit just to show my in-group bona fides because someone turned out to be a much bigger asshole than I thought he was four years ago.

So you’re saying that buying a Tesla and paying to be a FSD beta tester wasn’t a good financial investment? You told us your car was going to be a source of income.

Sigh... I know we're all just try to score internet argument cool points here, but I'll answer seriously.

I bought a new vehicle four years ago.  The vehicle is practical, easy to maintain, and as a bonus is fun to drive.  It has very low fuel and maintenance costs.  Because I was intrigued with the technology and wanted to support  autonomous vehicle development while experiencing incremental builds, I purchased FSD.  FSD also had the outside chance of someday leading to a path for passive income with the vehicle.  The passive income potential was not my primary motivation for purchasing the car or FSD.  It was an interesting possibility, but nothing I counted on.

What I did count on was having a vehicle that I could drive until the wheels fell off.  At this point, the vehicle is almost completely paid off and runs as well (better) than when I first got it, and I still enjoy driving it as much as I ever did.  This car feels like it will run forever, and I am looking forward to the next 5-6 years of driving with no car payment.  If I were to sell it now out of a sense of outrage, I would have to go out and replace the car and those 5-6 years of no car payment go poof like a fart in the wind.

I am appalled by Elon's behavior, but I'm not about to eat tens of thousands of dollars to prove that point to the internet and random people on the road.
